It seems like in incredibly corrupt IL that the Gov gets crumbs while Senators and the mayor of Chicago skate. Obama will probably get a pass.
Sadly over 50% of Catholics voted for him plus ACORN was funded by the Catholic Church and they helped electhim and his baby killing pals.

If Mr. O is going to get indicted, it better happen very, very soon.
He’s gonna kick all of the US attorneys out of their offices right after BO takes office.

Remember,it only took one person to start the avalnche that brought down Richard Nixon... and 9 months of daily pounding by an eager press on a mission to bring him down.
Ain't gonna happen with a Democrat, much less a holy one.

Obama is untouchable, with WAY too many protectors around him. No way will he be indicted, no matter what the guilt. A lot of his sycophants may go down in his stead, though.

Obama earlier said this year he was not ever involved in Chicago corruption. *snicker*

Probably, many think Fitzgerald cut the Blagojevich investigation short so it would not ensnare Obama. BINGO! And who else are they protecting, if not him? It stinks to high heaven, but not surprising.

Kind of hard to belive this.
I remember going thru the Clinton presidency. It seems every week we would hear that bubba was going to be indicted any day.

I’m afraid that your are correct. I trust Fitzmas as far as I can throw the Golden Gate Bridge.
Below is an interesting link to Beckwith’s page. Apparently Blago and Zer0 had a serious falling out when Zer0 refused to do what Blago wanted re Zer0’s replacement $inator.
Rahm probably met with Fitzmas and gave him some tapes and told Fitzmas to smash Blago before he screwed up everything.
When you read what Blago said on those tapes, it is easy to see there was no love left between Blago and Zer0.

So Fitzy threw Blago under Obama’s bus, and the nation will Move on with the unknown new president.

I hope you are right, but I don't think so. Limbaugh made a good observation of Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald said he was in the middle of a 'crime spree' by the leadership of the state and decided to stop collecting evidence and let everyone on earth know he was moving in. Why not let all of ;the perps declare their malfeasance? Why give them a heads up? He said it was because of needed legislation for a childrens hospital. In reality, Fitzgerald was getting so close to Obama and his cadre that he moved in to give Obama a "heads-up". If he had continued surreptitiously he may well have acquired tapes of Obama himself in this crime spree. Remember he spent 2 1/2 years investigating Libby, all the while knowing that Armitage was the party who let it out to Novak that Plame worked at CIA. Now, he barely gets started and he lets the whole world in on it. It stinks to high heavens by the prosecutor.

That was Rush’s take but why a 6:15 a.m. arrest at home? Something was going down today. What I do know is that love him or hate him, Fitz is considered a very straight shooter. Methinks he knows that he needs to pull the trigger as fast and furious as he can before 1-20-09 with what he has...

I think that the Feds lied about the reason for taking this public so soon. I think that they wanted to bust it up before bambi was undeniably involved in a criminal action. Any other investigation would have been allowed to play out.

Sean played Obama tape where he said he had no contact with the Governor or his office and was not aware of what was going on. But Sean has a video of Alxelrod saying in answer to the question: Do you know who the Governor might pick to take Obama’s senate seat? Alxelrod said “No, but I
know he as talked with the Governor and names were mentioned......”. Nice!!
Sean said maybe he should send these tapes to Fritzgerald!

"Obama and his spinmeisters are furiously working to portray Obama and Rahm as the crusaders on a white horse who brought down Blago in their home state. They will throw Blago under the bus big time."
This is Obama's Whitewater. They will probably never get him on it, but unless their are phone logs of Rham calling Fitz before this broke, he will also never be free from it. It also makes Fitz completely fire proof. With the allegations of blackmailing the media and e-bay senators if Obama touches him now it would be like the gap in Nixon's tape.
