Black Conservative Host Larry Elder Exits KABC...does anybody care? (BARF ALERT!)
Radio Facts ^ | December 12, 2008

...President/GM John Davison commented, "This will be a tough change for both of us because Larry has meant so much to KABC radio over the years. We part with KABC's respect, gratitude and best wishes for what we believe will be a very bright future given Larry's many talents." (translated: get out of the building, we need ratings)(laugh)

Sounds like a black victicrat assclown.

You are apparently unfamiliar with his work.

I am unable to imagine any other reason that would make you say that about him.

He IS a conservative talk show host and is one of the better ones.

I would rather listen to him than Sean Hannity any day.

Does this mean that black conservative AM talk show hosts are treated worse than black conservative politicians?

I admit I’ve not heard of this guy, but I can be certain that if he was any good as a conservative talk show host, his race was a factor in his downfall. (IOW, In this case it seems that things would have went better if he was white).

Larry did the worst thing a Black American can do...he left the liberal plantation. That’s why he’s hated by the so-called Black establishment.

Larry was being all whiny on Thursday night....I hardly ever listen to him, but John and Ken were talking about poo transplants.

Didn’t Larry Elder coin the term “victicrat”?

Stopped listening to Hannity *years* ago. His naive political party cheer leading is enough to make one sick.

KABC now has the Dodger contract. They were bumping Larry’s program and I think that caused him to rethink his position at KABC.

If the Dodger contract to air their games on KABC is lucrative for KABC, I can see how they might reluctantly have to choose the Dodgers over Larry’s show.

Larry didn’t seem to be too upset about it, other than the realization of an era coming to an end. He’ll be picked up on another southland station IMO.

Larry Elder is a Black gentleman who gets it. He’s been spreading the good news about Conservatism for a long time, as a Libertarian. I did not listen to Larry all the time. When I did, I always enjoyed the program.

Larry Elder is a class act. He is invaluable because there are so few Blacks who do get it. Powell and Rice are two examples of why Larry is so important to the cause if we are ever to pull Blacks away from the Liberal/Socialist mindset.

I hate to see a guy get whiny when talking about his dead mother, reads a letter about saving someone from suicide, and leaves after 15 years. He should suck it up and be a real man like us.

I listened to the first half hour of his announcement. I like Larry. He had a way of addressing folks who didn’t agree with him, in a manner that would win people over rather than have them entrench in their previous position.

Did it get maudlin later?

Larry Elder has penned some fine columns. I haven’t heard him on radio.

I get the most from Rush. Sometimes Boortz and Hannity have their high moments. I guess I like listening to Boortz more than to Hannity. Levin, who I’ve listened to through the internet, shines from time to time also. At Townhall.com one can get Hewitt, Prager, Bennett, and others. These are distinct individuals. I react both to their personality and their content. The newspeople at ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN are members of the liberal Borg (StarTrek not tennis) by comparison.

I’ve downloaded all the podcasts from Young Americans Foundation (YAF) - available from Townhall.com. YAF has very good speakers. With one speaker per podcast, there is a lot of variety and content.
