Man arrested in Christmas Eve church attack

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - A man has been arrested in the beating and mugging of an elderly man outside a church on Christmas Eve.
Prince George's County Police arrested 28-year-old Shanon Washington of Capitol Heights on New Year's Day.
Washington is charged with attempted murder, assault and robbery in the attack on 69-year-old Wayne Williams in the parking lot of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

If it wasn't for Bush, Cheney, and Rove Mr. Washington could have parlayed his 7th grade education into a career as a Community Organizer in the economic wasteland of Prince Georges County, or how about US Senator from the Peoples Republik of Maryland. Yeah! That's it.

I'm sorry, but what does this crime have to do with affirmative action? Rather, get career criminals off the streets and doing something productive, like digging holes or breaking rocks; discourage bastardy and encourage marriage; and make sure that there are jobs for people who don't like being in high school.
