Call to action: Possible Action Items for Regional FReeper Conventions
Feb 18, 2009

Just throwing out a handful of ideas for discussion:
- How to develop local chapters/conservative grassroots groups.
- Develop a conservative platform and a plan for recruiting, training, supporting and electing conservative candidates.
- Develop ideas for building an effective nationwide conservative grassroots network.
- How to combat the Fairness Doctrine? Install offshore servers? Private BBS? Email/Phone/Fax lists? Shortwave radio? Local/personal networking?
- Working with other conservative groups, political parties?
- Would a FReeper PAC be feasible? Practical? Effective?
- Would a FReeper 527 organization be feasible? Practical? Effective?
- How to infiltrate/influence local political organizations?
- Select and fund delegates for a national convention should our membership decide one is needed.

Jim
You are not the only one thinking through these things. Our way of life is being tested, rather it’s being usurped.
Even if the 5% of the people on this board are motivated, that will be enough to start what needs to be started in terms of communication networks. Communication is No.1, PERIOD! Without it, we are blind, deaf, and dumb.

Excellent.
We need a group that can meet in the Mpls/St. Paul Mn area! I can be a part of it for sure.

I have opened PACs and do reporting for them for my job so I have some experience I would be glad to volunteer. I am in CA, bay area.

My brother in law and I have a survival pact. We will pool resources. Oddly, he is a looney lefty, and I do mean LOONEY. Air America and the whole bit. But he is a Marine Iraq vet, and does have sidearms and rations. Paranoia can be good.
I think pooling resources on a wider scale would be very beneficial.

Good idea. Sign me up. I belong to several grassroots organizations and am active in local Republican party politics. Conservatives need to band together and start working on our agenda at the local level and build from there.

Florida FReeper reporting for duty, sir. I have admin/management experience, and a passion for politics. Ping me to any Florida Freeper list, and this one as well. We can be no less willing than heros like Todd Beamer and his band of patroits over that field in PA in answering this call, as the circumstance is no less dire. Lets Roll.......

A FR PAC or 527 would be an excellent thing to start and a logical next step for FR. Forming local chapters with boots on the ground is a must for future protests and the like.

Jim - this is what we need. We need to start turning words into actions.

The "FEAR" word (you know, the tactic Obummer uses) is called: MILITIA use it often, use it strong, use it loud. Guess what, Militia's are also legal! Leave the enemy with this image.........
FORM A LOCAL MILITIA, NOW!

I’m on every week on “Fox and Friends,” but the subject is textbook bias, so I can’t usurp the format for a rant.
