But, in what world do you think ANY republican will garner votes there?
Besides all the vote rigging that goes on there, the rest of us don’t have a chance.
I have admit there are racist people here who will not support Jindal cause of his race.. I know it is harsh, but that is the truth. They won’t say it but look for clues in the wording.

We need BOTH style AND substance, like Reagan had. It was Reagan who convinced me BOTH are important. Two of the reasons he was so effective.
Bill Clinton didn’t appear to have “it” in 1988. Jindal isn’t running in 2012 because he is running for re-election as governor in late 2011. He is 37, young, very bright, and has room and time to grow. Don’t discount Jindal 8, 12, or even 16 years down the road.
NEVER in a million years can anyone compare him to Reagan, give me a break.

President Reagan was more “American” than this POS’s shoe laces.
I was at five of his events in OK and he specifically said over and over again he would not turn back the ban on government funds to international organizations on abortion. He did not believe that taxpayer money should go to fund abortions. He also was very big on adoptions.
Lot of people didn’t like him but he didn’t put a finger in the wind to see which way it was blowing. It was this is who I am and you knew where he stood on the issues.
Figure he will most likely be the next Governor of NY which would be AWESOME!

There was only one Reagan and always will be. To compare him to anyone else is a disservice to his Greatness. Nobody will measure up to his legend although it seems the libs are always comparing themselves to him.

I am thinking Romney is the best candidate for 2012. Sarah should serve two full terms as governor and then run in 2016 (if Romney doesn’t win).

Unconstitutional, too. The ticket cannot be from the same state. Hunter is a good man but we need a governor not a legislator. Besides, he has no star power - not even on the Pawlenty level.

Who among us can’t say we haven’t had a “pre-marriage” situation in our families? I think it just puts her among the normal people. I know she’ll get the vote of the midwest because it happens. Having a family member become pregnant before marriage has happened since time immorial. It’s unfortunate they didn’t get married before the baby was born but has no bearing in her political career.
I hadn’t thought of Rudy for awhile, but maybe he might be a viable candidate in ‘12. Remember how Dinkins failed after he was hailed as the 1st black mayor of NYC. The problem w/Rudy though is that he has been out of office too long and can only talk about 9/11.
I hope he runs for Governor of New York, I think being Governor will help Rudy to make him more viable.
I'd like to use your tactics and say the above means Sarah Palin shouldn't run according to you, but I know you're referring to those who ran for president. : )
If we employed YOUR rule, Reagan would never have run in 1980, and we would have missed out on his two glorious presidential terms, to the great detriment of our nation.
