Its Over!

Stick a fork in the Obama administration -- its over before it barely got started

The American public is witnessing presidential incompetence on an uprecedented scale. Those who continue to support this president are all living in the same state -- the state of denial.

Here is a president who cannot even put together a cabinet. The vetting process is so broken that viable candidates cannot be distinguished from hucksters and tax cheats. Either the cabinet candidates are lying on their applications, or the administration is willing to accept less-than-qualified candidates and hope the press doesn't find out. In either case, the result is is disastrous.

Bush had Cheney, a powerful insider who could play the Washington power game. Obama has Biden, the say-anything, do-nothing loose cannon who does not have the aura or personal suasion to help the inexperienced new president.

What is most distressing, though, is the individual himself. Obama seems incapable of focusing on one issue at a time, particularly our number one issue, the economy. He is our first ADD president and our first teleprompter intellectual. He's fiddling with health care while the economy burns.

Some of my friends who had been huge Obama supporters are now privately worried about this man's utter lack of experience and skill. Here is a a teleprompter-reading, speech-delivering robot conveying the thoughts from someone else's brain. To call this man an empty suit is an insult to Marx Brothers.

This is the Democrats' worst nightmare. They have got to be squeamish at the thought of four years of this guy. The economic crisis, as serious as it is, pales in comparison to the leadership crisis in the White House today.

The Democrats took us down this road, and the bus is headed off the cliff. How will they react? Will they jump on the eligibility bandwagon? Are they more reluctant to embrace a President Biden than a President Obama?

You can bet that there are Democrat operatives and insiders whispering about how tehy can rid themselves of this tempest.

“To call this man an empty suit is an insult to Marx Brothers.”

“He is our first ADD president”

That’s some good stuff right there, I don’t care who you are.

Those who continue to support this president are all living in the same state -- the state of denial.

And they will vote for him unto bankruptcy, poverty, and death.

The new political dynamic that powers the left has morphed from "anyone but Bush" into

"anyone but any republican"

Bet on it. - Its there for all to see. - As plain as the nose on your face.

The American public is witnessing presidential incompetence on an uprecedented scale.

Unfortunately, most of the public is too blind to see what is right in front of their eyes.

I figured His High Holiness was a mud hole in the rode when the dinosaur rags started spouting off about “his great poll numbers.”

... or you are completely missing the Leninist's point.

What you describe as an "inability to focus" is, in fact, a clearly focused effort to use the financial crisis as cover for a truly breathtaking expansion of Federal Entitlements and the National Debt.

Obama is focused like a laser in realizing the hard left's longstanding vision of turning the Federal Government into a massive welfare machine. If events continue along the current trajectory (likely) just a few years from now you will see a Federal Budget several times larger than today's Leviathan dominated by Entitlement Spending and Debt Service with a crippling tax burden on the private sector ostensibly to fund it.

Obama is many things. But ADD defocused is not one of them.

If only this were true.

No offense, but there are too many people in this country with their hands out expecting others to contribute than those who contribute. The Sugar Daddy in Chief is now handing “goodies” to an increasing number of those who contribute (i.e. SCHIP, etc.), to turn them into government dependent drones. This is what the libtards have been wanting to do for years, and now they have their “perfect storm”: Majorities in both the House and Senate, and an inexperienced, malleable idiot in the White House.

The vetting process only applies to Republicans, as it is controlled by the press, and given that there isn't one pansy Capital Hill Republican willing to do more than state disapproval for one news cycle, ensures its rubber stamp status for the libtards. Go ahead and throw in an ignorant, apathetic, and indifferent populace and you have Secretary of Treasury that didn't pay his taxes for four years. Unbelievable.

No, I think things are going to get much worse, and with the media trumpeting how “exciting the challenging times are for the American people”, the majority will just follow the bus over the cliff.

“He is our first ADD president ...”

Great line. But the problem may actually be that he’s spending too much time attending parties and sipping wine. Ir reminds me of what Louis XIV was doing just before the French Revolution.

Realistic, sane Dems will be worried. But the socialists are just ga-ga at the thought of a massive expansion of the welfare state, crippling energy taxes, and “making the rich pay.”

Just go to DU. Where once you could find plenty of criticism of Obama (I’m talking just a month or two ago) there is nothing but gleeful hand-rubbing and the sense that socialism is America’s new direction for good.

As I say, serious, sane Democrats ought to be concerned.

He's fiddling with health care while the economy burns.

Obama's goal is to do as much damage to America as possible while his support and approval ratings are still respectable (in the afterglow of this "historic" election). Because once the majority of the electorate catches on to the fact that he's a complete incompetent with very un-American intentions, he'll have a much tougher time implementing his agenda.

He will probably be a two term President followed by another Dem. By that time two-thirds of Americans won't be paying any income taxes and national health care will be in place along with the amnesty of 12 to 20 million illegals and the 66 million to 100 million they will sponsor to come here thru chain migration, i.e., family reunification.

Stick a fork in America, we are done.

Seeing as how most Americans believe everything they are told on the nightly news, I would say that Obama’s approval ratings will never go below 50%, regardless of the circumstances.

The MSM will carry his water through a stock market crash, an economic meltdown, skyrocketing inflation, civil war, whatever: The news about Obama will always be good.

I would bet that the MSM is already honing their “If only der Fuhrer knew” defense as we speak.
