I’d also say there is a huge difference between wishing for a country to go through a disaster to improve someones’ political fortunes and wishing for the country to avoid a disaster.

I saw Frank Schaefer, son of Francis Schaefer, last night on Hughley’s show on CNN.
He almost came unhinged as he stated how vehement the Republicans “hated” Obama. And that any true American should do nothing other than get behind the President.
It was unbelievable. As if 2000-2008 never happened.
