hey pal you’re the only one who cannot understand it and all because of one yes ONE word was spelt wrong.
of course you’re trying to decipher what I wrote as you are replying.
As for recognising a word spelt wrong, well What did you think I was going to say thank you so much , i appreciate it ,you’;re the best I didn;t know how I would have ever slept last night knowing now I spelt a word wrong for soldier dad .
However I think as others have pointed out that you really can understand what was said but instead you saw a word spelt wrong and you thought you could jump on and basically say hey look at me I never spell anything wrong , I’m better than you.
If you cannot understand what I write then why are you replying?
Answer is because you can understand what I wrote and now you’ve made a total fool of yourself to me and others.
Tell you what could you follow me around the forum and tell me when a word is spelt wrong as I was out serving my country instead of listening to you Mr English teacher

The pope has violated the Lateran Treaty You missed this part: In 1984 an agreement was signed, revising the concordat.
He has no standing in Israeli affairs.
True, but you're not going to find a more disinterested party than the Pope. Really, what dog does he have in this fight?
he needs to look into why the University of Notre Dame invited zero to speak there
Notre Dame is a small blip on the Pope's radar. There are 1.2 BILLION Catholics in the world. There are 65 Million in the US. Outside the US, Catholics are just not focused on the actions of ND.

Pope Benedict is just another Westerner playing appeasement with Israel’s survival.
With one statement he says never again; with the next he wants to bring about the conditions for an Israeli Holocaust.

“the head of the largest Christian organization has a right to offer an opinion that is at least as valid as the collection of rabbi’s.”
Wrong!
The Rabbi in question is a) Israeli and lives there b) is “rabbi of central Tel Aviv and chairman of the Rabbinical Congress for Peace, which includes some of Israel’s most prominent Jewish leaders.”
Who is the Pope to Israel? Let him come live there. Let his sons serve in the army. Let his family endure missiles and terror attacks. Let him convert to Judaism and then he can have the same say as the lowliest Israeli living there.
Until then he, with his Hitler Youth past, and the Catholic Church, who at best sat by and witnessed the Holocaust, should shut up.
I used to think he got it about Islam. Now I see he is just another appeasement fool willing to feed the Jews to the hordes in the stupid belief that the Muslims will spare the Christians.

"Until then he, with his Hitler Youth past, and the Catholic Church, who at best sat by and witnessed the Holocaust, should shut up." You need to get your facts correct before you make a further fool of yourself. Joseph Ratzinger, a 16-year-old seminarian (in a religious school), was conscripted to served in an auxiliary air defense squadron that had nothing to do with Nazism or Nazi ideology.
Please also keep in mind that Catholics too suffered greatly in the holocaust and that Jews represent less than 20% of the number that perished in holocausts of the 20th century whereas Christians represented nearly half. Lastly, Catholics have did far more to save Jews and other non-Catholics for the Nazi holocaust than Israel has done to save the hundreds of thousands of victims of Islamic holocausts in places like Darfur.

The exapmlies belie your propaganda about Arabs treating Jews well.
So are you ignorant, a post-nationalists, or a theological anti-Zionist writhing in hatred of Israel? You must have addressed this post to the wrong person. I never stated anything supporting your first sentence posit and your ad hominem attack in the second is totally without basis as well as being provocative. Get lost.

You need to get your facts straight.
1) Pope Benedict acknowledged that he was in Hitler Youth.
2) “Suffered greatly?” Get back to me when 1/2 the Catholic population is annhilated.
Minimizing the 6 million dead Jews of the Holocaust will not earn you points on this thread, at FR or at any other reputable place. You will score with the Iraniann nut job and Muslims however.
3) On Darfur, get educated. Jews are at the forefront of the Save Darfur movement. Israel actually takes in refugees. Does the Vatican? Does Rome?
Israel for their size does more for the world’s catastrophes than any other country. Unfortunately due to terrorism they have the know how to deal with tragedies where humans are hurt.
While I am at it, why does the Vatican have so much Judaica that rightly belongs to the Jewish people? If the Pope wants to give make ‘rightful’ returns let him start in his own house.

where in the Bible does it say that a Palestianian state cant be established?
It doesnt.
The jews were promised a homeland but I dont see that being inconsistent with a Palestianian state
If its the same land it certainly IS inconsistent!
security problems makes establishing a Palestian State a bad idea but that is a separate issue and not my point. These are worldly matters not spiritual matters. Ill bet the Pope just stated his position and did not demand anything.
No one said he demanded anything. Just stated his opinion??. HIS opinion should line up w/Gods Word otherwise he is double minded. Gods Word says
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. His position deems him to be a representative of Christ.does it not.?
After all the Pope is not saying much different than most leaders in the U.S. are saying including both Bush and Obama.
Thats the problem he should be. If he were a true representative of Christ there should be a vast difference between him and the world. Christians are to be light unto the world for the world is darkness. Not getting into it but Bush and zero views on Israel are different.
I dont necessarily agree with it but it is not radical, it is mainstream, conventional political thinking and it doesnt conflict with the Bible.
It most certainly does conflict w/the Bible. You speak as if the world has Truth it doesnt! Gods is Truth. Follow the Gods Word or follow the world.. Are you saying following Gods Word is radical. Will that be your excuse when judgment day comes? Your Way was too radical for me. God never asked us in His Word for our opinion just obey and believe.
I dont agree with a Palestian State only because I dont think security is possible but thats the only reason. If security could somehow be managed I wouldnt have a problem with it.
The reason we disagree is
you have more faith in what you think and what the world thinks and I have faith in what God says. Gods Word is true and every man a liar and My Ways are not your ways and My thoughts are not your thoughts says The Lord. I will take Gods Word over mans anyday and everyday. His is the All Knowing, All Seeing Almighty God is He not?
Ill close with Gods Word to Israel I will bless those that bless you and curse those who curse you.

No, You need to get your facts straight.
1) Pope Benedict acknowledged that he was in Hitler Youth. -Joseph Ratzinger was conscripted, as were all seminary students. His name was submitted by his school. He never participated in any political activities and eventually faced a death penalty for desertion.
2)Get back to me when 1/2 the Catholic population is annihilated. - To each individual who suffered and died at the hands of the Nazis, Christian, Jew, Gypsy, Slav, and handicapped, and to their loved ones, the loss was equal. You cannot claim that the loss of a Jew is a greater tragedy than the loss of anyone else.
"Minimizing the 6 million dead Jews of the Holocaust will not earn you points on this thread, at FR or at any other reputable place."
I am minimizing nothing. I am contextualizing. In the 20th century there were 60 million killed by Mao, 20 million by Stalin, 10 million killed by Japan, 8 million killed by Hitler, 2 million Armenians killed by the Turks, 2 million Cambodians killed by Pol Pot, 1 million Tutsi Rwandans, and there are a number of smaller ones, no less tragic. If you want to expand the list beyond the 20th century we can start with Joshua's actions in the cities he conquered."
3) On Darfur, get educated. Jews are at the forefront of the Save Darfur movement. Israel actually takes in refugees. Does the Vatican? Does Rome?"
It is simply disingenuous to play up the limited actions of Israel with respect to the darfur refugees while trivializing the actions of the Catholic Church during the holocaust. The Church acted with greater compassion and greater results while taking far greater risks. There were hundreds of thousands of Catholic clergy killed in the holocaust. How many Israeli's have died in Darfur? Rome, by the way is a city in Italy. The Vatican is an office complex of approximately 100 acres.
"While I am at it, why does the Vatican have so much Judaica that rightly belongs to the Jewish people?"
Are you claiming that the artifacts were illegally obtained? Are you saying that possession of land and objects of value acquired by Israel by force are legitimate, but the historical activities of non-Jews isn't? Are you saying that the many shops that openly and legally sell Judaica can't really transfer title? Sounds to me like you are in favor of another reparations scam.

I think the Pope meant Jordan and Syria have to give the palestinians their land back.

Way back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here's what he said:
The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.
For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.

In "Myths of the Middle East," Farah wrote:
The truth is that Palestine is no more real than Never-Never Land. The first time the name was used was in 70 A.D. when the Romans committed genocide against the Jews, smashed the Temple and declared the land of Israel would be no more. From then on, the Romans promised, it would be known as Palestine.
The name was derived from the Philistines, a Goliathian people conquered by the Jews centuries earlier. It was a way for the Romans to add insult to injury ... Palestine has never existed before or since as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire and, briefly, by the British after World War I. ... There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians.
What about Islam's holy sites? There are none in Jerusalem. Shocked? You should be. I don't expect you will ever hear this brutal truth from anyone else in the international media. It's just not politically correct.
I know what you're going to say. "Farah, the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem represent Islam's third most holy sites." Not true. In fact, the Koran says nothing about Jerusalem. It mentions Mecca hundreds of times. It mentions Medina countless times. It never mentions Jerusalem. With good reason. There is no historical evidence to suggest Mohammed ever visited Jerusalem. ... Meanwhile, Jews can trace their roots in Jerusalem back to the days of Abraham.
