Conversation with a Public School Bred America Hater.

Posted on 06/02/2009 7:55:41 PM PDT by Lloyd Marcus

Hi Folks, proud black conservative Lloyd Marcus here. Years ago, I was outraged when a dear white friend said her son came home from middle school full of guilt for slavery. I thought, “Good grief, this kid was basically born yesterday. What on earth should he feel guilty about?” But, this is the liberal “white men are evil” and “America sucks” garbage he was being taught in school.

Fast forward to today. My friend's son, “Jay”, not his real name, is a young man. He contacted me on Facebook. Jay wrote that my writings make him “scratch his head”, but he still considers me a friend. Jay's Facebook page is full of “f” bombs describing his hatred for Capitalism, Republicans and America.

I wrote Jay asking him to please tell me what has shaped his negative view of all things American. His response is full of distortions. Here are a few of Jay's beliefs.

“...my grandfather grew up on a reservation I have a lot of animosity for some of the actions of our founders.”

“...capitalism...a very small percent of the population can live in Romanesque luxury while the vast majority lives in abject poverty.” “I as a Marxist believe that the working class, the very cogs of society are solely responsible for the wealth of a nation and should reap the benefit as opposed to the wealthy CEOs who toil not.”

“...whether or not all republicans are white supremacists, all white supremacists are republicans.”

I assume Jay's last comment is in response to Republican's opposition to Obama's supreme court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor. Sotomayor made a racist comment regarding white men.

“wonders why all of a sudden the republicans are so concerned about racism? They didn't seem so concerned when the KKK endorsed their candidate for president... f--king two faced fascists!”

Sadly, this bright young man has erroneous views. And, why is he so angry? The seeds of Jay's hatred for his country were planted in middle school.

I realize many of you Soccer moms and dads are busy earning a living. You don't have time to closely follow politics. You only catch sound bites from a liberal bias mainstream media.

Meanwhile, in elementary schools to colleges across America, leftists are contaminating the minds of our youths. Their message is consistent, “America and white males are responsible for all of the evils in the world”.

Secular Progressives have launched a WAR against America and traditional values. Case in point, the high tech lynching of Miss California, Carrie Prejean, for HUMBLY saying she felt marriage should be between a man and woman. Secular Progressives said, “How dare this dumb “b” express such an archaic and extreme bigoted belief”.

Who are Secular Progressives? Usually, snobby Ivy League educated libs who think people who believe in God and have traditional values are ignorant and beneath them. They view minorities as inferior victims who can achieve ONLY with their intervention via Affirmative Action and lowering standards. Secular Progressives chastise Americans for not thinking more 'globally' as everyone knows Europeans are far more sophisticated and enlightened than us backwards Americans. Despite the fact consumers save an average of 17%, Secular Progressives would NOT be caught dead in a Walmart.

In typical liberal weird thinking, while claiming to care about the little guy, libs despise Walmart which genuinely helps working class families. Libs say, “ Evil Walmart drove out the mom and pops stores”. Well, following that logic, let's get rid of cell phones and bring back all those telephone operators who lost their jobs.

At a fund raiser with his Secular Progressive friends, Obama mocked us folks with traditional values. He accused us of clinging to “God and guns”.

Secular Progressives also consider everyone possessing a heartfelt patriotism and love for their country as 'middle America yahoos', naïve about how we are destroying the planet and robbing the world.

Parents, you MUST get involved in the PTA. Get right thinking common sense candidates elected to the school board. As the song says, “The children are our future”. Our children MUST be taught the REAL history of this incredible, astonishingly successful and great experiment known as America. We can no longer PASSIVELY allow our children to be indoctrinated by Secular Progressives with their angry, bitter liberal perverted view of our great country.

We really will never achieve equality until we recognize that equal opportunity does not guarantee equal results. The unfortunate “victims” that carry around the chip on their shoulders against those that they perceive as being advantaged transcends gender, race and religion.

Yep!

The liberal world-view, by its very nature, defies rational thought. A rational world-view would dictate that you should judge someone by their character, not by their race, religion or sex.

Now, we have whole groups of people who insist on being judged by their race, religion or sex, and expect preferential treatment because of it. Liberals think equal rights means special rights.

-----

[From the first legal paper written for and distributed by the federal government to explain the U.S. Constitution to the American People]

By equality, in a democracy, is to be understood, equality of civil rights, and not of condition. Equality of rights necessarily produces inequality of possessions; because, by the laws of nature and of equality, every man has a right to use his faculties in an honest way, and the fruits of his labor, thus acquired, are his own. But some men have more strength than others; some more health; some more industry; and some more skill and ingenuity, than others; and according to these, and other circumstances the products of their labor must be various, and their property must become unequal. The rights of property must be sacred, and must be protected; otherwise there could be no exertion of either ingenuity or industry, and consequently nothing but extreme poverty, misery, and brutal ignorance.
St. George Tucker, "View of the Constitution of the United States" 1803
Of the Several Forms of Government, Section VI [Page 40-41]

This is my duty. I take it seriously and intend to do it well.

THIS is a complete waste of my time and will get in the way of my teaching my kids. Why spend all of my free time and energy trying to undo the damage public schools are doing and the to 'fix' the schools. It takes far less time and effort to avoid that damage in the first place. Instead I will direct all of my energies to teaching my kids right the first time. Homeschooling will give me and my wife a lot more free time than dinking around at PTAs and boards trying to bail a sinking ship. My little homeschool motor boat is faster than the public school Titanic ever was.

I was working at a concert for a very liberal folksinger (not protecting the name. I genuinely don’t remember it). It was the usual liberal/commie crowd. Two men had shirts that read, “Capitalism is the devil’s wet dream.” Knowing there had been no free tickets given out for this concert and having seen the high prices for it, I had to hold my tongue not to ask how much they paid for their tickets — and the Obama stump speech.

“From Africa to Slavery room by our male guide.”

Did you ask him if he was aware that slavery still exists, in some parts of Africa?

No. But I did ask it of the others in the group where he could hear. I also let them know that African chieftains were upset over whites outlawing slavery.
