For quite some time, conspiracy theories have been the bastion of the left. Now, sadly......

Who cares about a darn garden look what they are doing to our country..Of course the so called garden was planted over night so they could get some publicity for the Hag in the white house..Our garden is just now yielding tomatoes and squash but then we live in the hot climate of Texas..

I still say who cares..

I did ask the question about when they were planted but never decided if there was anything unusual going on.

If they were planted here in Michigan on that date I would say hell yes there’s something up but I don’t know enough about the DC climate to say for sure.

Unless the White House has some kind of Miraclegro on steriods (or a green house, which I have never noticed), there is NO WAY those tomatoes could have been grown and ready to eat at this point in June in Washington, D.C. I don’t know about the kale, etc. But the tomatoes, definitely.

All one has to do to form an informed opinion is compare:Other things like variety, daily temperature and rainfall can be used to refine an opinion.

I haven’t seen the Obamas’ garden, but my own, planted about 25 miles away, is going insane this summer. Strawberries, rhubarb, peas, onions, raspberries—everything is growing like mad. We were eating the first produce this weekend. The tomatoes are still lagging, however. I have to cut my grass every five minutes and the bushes in my yard have doubled in size since last year. The amazing quantities of rain make all the difference, since rain contains nitrogen and doesn’t have the chlorine of city water.

The conspiracy theorists may simply not be living in this area.

I noticed the bountiful harvest done in record time. Having grown those same vegetables in my own garden, I know the truth.

However, I am not so nieve as to expect anything even close to the truth to come from the acting president or his staff.

I planted my garden from seedlings in April and have been harvesting all the month of June. The tomatoes are still green though. In March I planted mixed greens and harvested in April/May.

Quite possible the WH garden was ready with the spring plantings they put in. The plants they sowed were already in 6” or larger. Probably already a month old.

I figured she didn’t touch the garden except for photo ops. A garden takes a lot of work and if the WH wanted to; they probably have people that can do it. If not, it was trucked in.

Growing lettuce and peas in 90 days is just not a big deal.

Everything about the Os has an element of fraud, fakery or outright lie to it.

The writer said she saw tomato plants. But the offical layout of the WH garden does not show tomatoes.

how about a simple question that should be readily answerable:

how long does it take to go from seed to harvest for snap peas and lettuces?

Probably legit if it was just lettuce and snap peas.

Susan Reimer sez: “I'm a highly educated, professional JOURNALIST, and I despise and ridicule all those bloggers who spend their time chasing nits and nats, instead of writing about the important world events that will keep the public informed. Sooooo, today, I will write about the great White House Garden conspiracy!”

Yeah Susan, that's the ticket.

You just gotta admire a real professional JOURNALIST like Susan Reimer!

Who cares? It’s nothing but a photo-op prop anyway. Anyone who really thinks the Obamas do the work in that garden, well, I have a nice bridge to sell you...
