HOUSTON - Michael Garza's parents say they weren't sure who to believe, their 8-year-old son or his reading teacher Savonya Depland Haston.
-snip-
After Michael calls the reading teacher "ma'am," Haston is heard on the tape replying "I'm not your ma'am. If I owned you, and you were my slave, I would beat you down."
-snip
On the tape, you hear her tell the class of 7 and 8-year-olds she could have charges filed against them and their parents for lying and violating her civil rights.
"When you lie on me, I have the right to an attorney, I have the right to file charges against you and your parents. I have the right to take you straight up to the top of the Grand Jury and the federal government and file charges against your parents and garnish whatever wages are in your houses; that's the law," the reading teacher is heard on the tape telling the classroom of second graders.
So what did the Houston Independent School District decide to do about Mrs.Haston?
Houston
"When you lie on me, I have the right to an attorney, I have the right to file charges against you and your parents. I have the right to take you straight up to the top of the Grand Jury and the federal government and file charges against your parents and garnish whatever wages are in your houses; that's the law," the reading teacher is heard on the tape telling the classroom of second graders.
Reassigned?
She needs her fat ass fired!
This is the result of Obamna worship in the public schools.
WTH???
Amazing...
Is this a trick question?
Answer:
* Promote her with a bump of $100k in salary, pension, benefits.
* Put her in charge of teaching mandatory Obama Anthems.
* Have the parents & children jailed for Thought Crime.
“”When you lie on me....”
As in “If you lie” or “lying on top of me” ?
I izz cornfused ;-)
Sounds like the ACORN gangsters are finding their way into the public schools.
Houston parents should be outraged.
Parents to teacher: “I have your voice recorded with these threats. If you ever speak to my child like this again I am going to have your job and then I am going to break your neck.”
I’ll take the first one for 400, Alex.
Something similar happened to me at the hands of a black teacher in a Dallas public school in 1972.
It’s good to know that tradition isn’t being ignored.

Excuse me...this is pure threatening of small children. Children suffer severe emotional distress if they fear the stability of their home is in jeopardy.
She is telling these 6 yr olds that SHE has the power to take the very food out of their mouths, make them homeless. This is pure child abuse and she should be FIRED immediately.
It’s an interesting new age of under cover journalism. 20 year olds dressed up as prostitutes and eight year olds with hidden tape recorders, while CNN invents stories of Tea Party racism.
“The right thing in this case is immediate removal, immediate termination,” said Quanell X, Community Activist.
“I don’t care if the teacher is African American or not, said Quanell X. “She is wrong, wrong, wrong!”
From local TV, not what I expected.

On a sane planet, that would have already happened.
This is absurd. I was raised to say yes ma’am and yes sir. I raised my daughter to do the same. I have raised my grandson to do the same.I would love to tangle with this teacher. They would have to find the blueprints to put this school back together.
