JOE THE PLUMBER JOINS TEA PARTY EXPRESS TODAY!

Hello everyone - I have some great news to pass along to you!  Joe The Plumber has agreed to fly out to Colorado and will be speaking at two of our Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day rallies!

Above: Joe The Plumber speaking at our Brighton, MI rally during the first Tea Party Express tour.  Joe The Plumber will be speaking at two of our rallies on Tea Party Express II.

As we've been telling you, thanks in large part to your support, momentum has continued to build for the Tea Party Express.  We endorsed Conservative Doug Hoffman in NY-23 and produced ads supporting him, and not long thereafter the RINO Republican dropped out of the race.

We've collected thousands of letters opposing Nancy Pelosi's government-run healthcare plan.  Now, Joe The Plumber is helping advance the cause, and we have more big names to announce in the days to come :-)

You have no idea how excited and proud I am of this tea party movement and the work we've done on the Tea Party Express.  As the mother of a United States Marine, I can't tell you how important it is for all of us to exercise our freedom to speak out and challenge our politicians when they are doing wrong.  Our men and women in the U.S. military serve and sacrifice so that we can be free.  And it is now more important than ever that we exercise those freedoms.

Congress is set to vote on the Pelosi healthcare bill later this week or early next week.

We need to keep building the crowds and spreading the message.  We need to spread the message further.

Hi syncro

Have been at other tea party events, but son is in state soccer playoffs in Co Spgs tonight. Will be there in spirit and sorry to miss it. Take an extra Gadsden flag for me!

Merit is not measured at all apparently. Why do you have this McCain side-kick coming to your teaparty?

If relevance in your eyes is Joe the Plumber then I’d just as soon not play.

After the BS he took for asking Odumbo a simple but applicabale question...I’d say he’s earned his 15 minutes plus of fame.

What’s wrong with Joe the Plumber?

The back and forth comments on this thread sound a love spat. What’s going on between you all?

I agree...but that doesn't mean this thread being in breaking news isn't ridiculous.

So what’s your problem with Joe? He’s a stand up Conservative and a generally good guy.

I don't see why we can't all agree on a few things here:

1. Joe the Plumber is a good guy.

2. Joe the Plumber was maliciously and idiotically attacked by the ghouls on the left because he asked a simple question.

3. That makes him a viable choice as someone who would make appearances at conservative events, and as a minor celebrity in conservative circles.

4. His presence and appearance at this particular event makes sense.

5. It makes sense that his appearance would generate a discussion thread on Free Republic.

6. This thread, while valid, does not belong in breaking news.

Looks to me like it should be up to Jim and the mods as to whether or not this is Breaking News. Why don’t you ask them? Personally, I have no problem with it since Joe was the one who stood up in his yard and publicly unmasked Obama as an unapologetic Socialist. Let Joe have as much fame as he can stand.
