NRCC has new Web ad: "Which Is It, Hoffman?" WEDNESDAY,
Watertown Daily Times ^ | OCTOBER 7, 2009 | JUDE SEYMOUR

The National Republican Congressional Committee just released a new Web ad, "Which is it, Hoffman?" that spotlights Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman's alleged dithering about his positions on certain issues.

Here's the transcript:

"Doug Hoffman is running for Congress. He is opposed to civil unions. Actually...Oh. Well, he is against big government bailouts. Not before! Geez! Well Doug Hoffman lives in the 23rd...uh...this guy doesn't even live here? Why are we...? Doug Hoffman is running...from himself."

Mr. Hoffman, according to a recent Siena poll, is unknown by almost three-quarters of voters in the 23rd Congressional District. The NRCC is likely using this ad to define Mr. Hoffman as a flip-flopper before he gets a chance to adequately define himself.

The Conservative candidate does have an ad introducing himself, and says he "urgently needs to raise $125,000" to get it on the air.

The text refers to the following:

This is the NRCC's first ad targeting Mr. Hoffman. Previous ads have focused on Bill Owens, the Democratic candidate.

Stupak amendment seems to have passed. That should cause the pro abort votes to bail on the bill.

Nope...the pro aborts know it will be stripped out. The
house is going to pass this monstrosity, and
American patriots are gonna have to take to the
streets of DC (again!) to stop it in it's tracks in the Senate.

The only people to blame for this loss is the RNC. It is a leadership ship.

As in Dilbert’s “don’t step in the leadership”?

It is a leaderless ship.
Fixed it for yeh.

I disagree though. It’s not a lack of leadership, it’s a type of leadership.

Vote for the (R)! That’s all that matters! The (R) means all! Don’t think. Don’t ask questions. Do not go against your betters. Vote the (R)!

But, we’re not retards, or we’d be liberals and voting for the (D).

The GOP stands for nothing, means nothing, is nothing. It’s leadership is infested with “pragmatists” who’s only desire is party victory and party power, no matter the consequences, no matter the compromise.

They give us squat worth voting for and tell us to either eat it or starve.

Pandering to the “moderates” (those who either can’t be bothered to pay attention, or are inherently unable to consider issues any deeper then the bottom of their own bellies or farther in reach than their own gonads), means moving ever steadier to the left.

If we want a party worth belonging to and supporting, we’re going to need to take the pitch fork, tar and feathers to those who’ve been running the GOP into the “big tent” moral bankruptcy.

I wonder if anyone should clue them that the election is over. Extra credit if they guess that they backed a dead mule...

You can determine dates. Congratulation! Are you still hoping for amnesty for illegal aliens?

Hoffman has gotten enough name recognition that he can challenge Scott Murphy in his home NY 20th CD next year. I forgot Hoffman came from NY-20. I was looking for his where he came from and stumbled into these threads.

Despite hype, north country turnout for NY-23 lower

I'm not for amnesty, although it might be preferable to doing nothing. 0 is likely to want it as a wedge issue against the GOP. I'm for a massive increase in legal immigration.

You still living in the past? That's a rhetorical question. Sorry Hoffman turned out to be a weenie.

It appears that you have changed since your comments were made on this thread five years ago.

Immigrants Face Loss of Licenses in ID Crackdown

I'm for a massive increase in legal immigration.

That sounds brilliant with official unemployment over ten percent.

You still living in the past? That's a rhetorical question.

No, but I can remember being insulted by apologists for illegal aliens.
