So What Do We Do Now?
Vanity | November 8, 2009 | Wpin

Posted on 11/08/2009 6:26:47 AM PST by Wpin

This morning I awoke to the news that the democrats have succeeded in passing their "health" bill. One lone Republican voted for it, thirty-eight democrats voted against it. In spite of the people's wishes this government has moved us another step into socialistic fascism. Just as Hitler did in his tenure as leader of Germany.

So, I am wondering today...what do we do now? It is obvious that protesting as we have with our Tea Parties have had no affect. Tyrants always have reason for tyranny and they will not be stopped by the American people protesting politely, even when there are hundreds of thousands of us at one place.

As most of us here I am very disheartened, indeed saddened deeply by what I view as what may be another nail in the coffin of freedom and decency. Are these the end times? Are we to suffer terribly for our nation ignoring God? I have so many questions which I do not have the answer to. All I know from my life is to do the right thing, to stand up for liberty and decency. To strive to prevail over what I view as this evil. But, how to do that? Do we continue to do our Tea Parties? Do we work on seperating from this nation and building our own? Would the democrats even allow that? Maybe someone can offer some clarity, some sound thinking on what the hell we do now. I would appreciate it greatly.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Yes, it’s probably punishment from God. When God wants to punish us, He gives us what we ask for.

There is a very long shot that this might be stopped in the senate, but only that.

The next goal must be to gain a majority big enough in the House and Senate in 2010 that if this can't be repealed (and Zero would veto a repeal) that it be so massively undercut that it won't have any effect. But again, that would involve the Messiah.

Elections have consequences.

You realize, the democrats will not allow that. They cannot afford to have the productive part of the US leave there nation. I am certain they understand that the conservative side of the population is the productive side that makes the US economy successful. And, tyrants do not let go of power peacefully, so I am fairly certain that to secede would mean war. Not a pretty thought.

We need to keep going. There’s no other alternative. We also need to get on the phones or fax or e-mail senators against socialized medicine.

It is possible that times are going to become very hard before they get better, but at least do what you can to stop it. Don’t just roll over.

I think we must all stop paying taxes. They depend on the fact that we will support their schemes. There are still fifty percent of the population that they depend on to sponsor these sh**t programs.

There are two ways to stop paying taxes: quit your job and go on public benefits; tell your employer you have 9 dependents.

We have to organize to challenge it’s Constitutionality.
we need to take to the streets in numbers to hard to ignore and speak out against it

One of the things we do is obtain and maintain a list of those who voted for this outrage and target our energies toward kicking them, and their political careers, to the curb. They have to go. They have betrayed the trust of the American people and their oath to uphold the Constitution, regardless of the content of the final bill. Buh-bye.

Do we work on seperating from this nation and building our own?

Are you talking about some available vacant land that I don't know about?

We also need to get on the phones or fax or e-mail senators against socialized medicine.

I think we're well beyond phone calls, e-mails and faxes now. Congresscritters are clearly ignoring the electorate.

Every Senator has a local office in their home state. It's time to park as many protesters as we can muster in front of every Senator's office. Loud and proud. This tactic worked wonders when our TN State Legislature tried to adopt an unconstitutional state income tax. I see no reason why the same tactic wouldn't work here.

We need to hang on tenatiously. We need to keep up the activism. Pelosi knows that her opponents must be de-moralized right now and thinks a lot of people will give up.

NEVER WEAKEN!

So, I am wondering today...what do we do now?

Relax and don't let it bother us that's what.

Don't take it so seriously.

I, for instance, am going to relax and buy some ammo and go to the range today and practice since it's such a nice day. : )

That list needs to spell out the dems who are in districts that would have normally been Republican. Gary Peters in Michigan is one that comes to mind to me. He took Joe Knollenberg’s seat. I think, based on the number of tea party patriots that showed up at his local offices this summer, he would be vulnerable.

I too am truly disheartened this morning. I looked at Drudge this morning and saw that smiling jackal Pelosi.

For decency’s sake, I cannot post on FR the level of hatred I have for those people. God forgive me.

I asked, prior to this vote, what we would do if this thing passed. The democrats have no fear of the American voter. They have nothing but contempt for the Constitution.

Is this how the Founders felt living under the tyranny of King George?

I side with Jefferson when he said, “A little revolution now and then is a good thing.”

Just my thoughts on this dark Sunday.

For the ignorant who voted for zero and put him where he can do a lot of damage to this country, they will begin to wonder when/if the final bill passes, why they aren’t getting all the goodies promised to them. They’re too stupid to know it doesn’t have any affect until 2013. Even too stupid to realize why that year was chosen. Don’t believe for a minute it’s to “gather” the revenue before it is put into effect.

On the other hand, those same people will be crowing immediately that this isn’t at all as bad as protesters were saying - again not realizing it won’t be implemented right away.

Maybe it pays to be stupid.

Keep fighting on the soap box.

Keep fighting at the ballot box.

Keep filling the ammo box.
