You answered your own question. Mohammedans are great cowards and rarely do well when the odds are anything close to even. That is why they usually do their work where Leftists have helpfully disarmed honest citizens for them.

Many years ago Israel outlawed all weapons in an attempt to stop the Terrorists that were shooting up sidewalk cafes and restaurants.
They changed the laws and let citizens start carrying weapons. The next Tango that tried to shoot up a sidewalk cafe got shot by the patrons before it turned into a bloodbath.
We many not be far from that scenario in the US.

I am becoming less oriented towards peaceful tolerance of the phony religion of peace and intolerance.
One fine day we may wake up to hear breaking news on our tvs and radios of Ft. Hood style attacks in malls, offices, parks, etc... all across our fair land if we do not set aside the politically correct, pre-9/11 mentality that the hard lefties are stuffing in our faces.

22-year-old Abdul Walid Hamid of Hayward [CA]... tore a crucifix from a person's neck... was yelling "Allah is power" and "Islam is great" while holding a pen in a fist over his head. Witnesses said he shouted anti-Christian comments... was not provoked and didn't threaten violence, but he committed robbery when he grabbed and broke a crucifix off someone's neck.
