Bob J Poll: Huckabee Supporters - Now that Huck is WillyHortonified, Will Your Vote go to Sarah?
11-30-09 | Bob J

Posted on 11/30/2009 2:30:18 PM PST by Bob J

I think it is a good Q. Huck was polling at least 8-10% of GOP voters, it's interesting to know whether those votes now go to the other evangelical Sarah, someone else or whether it puts Hucksters in the undecided column!

I didn’t say Cheney was our saviour, no more than I would proclaim ANY politican my saviour. I was aksed whom I would support, at this point, and after considerable thought I came to the conclusin I couldn’t support any of the annointed yet unannounced nominees, and that if pressured to pick a candidate, now, I would select Cheney...as well as a Dick/Liz ticket.

I’ve always liked Cheney, he was the smartest man in the W2 admin, he’s a fighter, he knows how to turn the tables on opponents/liberals and if there as one person I would want in my foxhole, he’s the guy.

Iruth to that, but as long as others push their candidate,
we will post the current articles for Palin.

Also many on FR who say they don’t have a candidate are the first to bash or post snarky comments against Palin. We will post countering that.

So we should vote for Huckabee because he’s such a wonderful, intuitive person?

Sure. Just like I voted for Zero. NOT!!!!

"Is Willy Norton related to Willie Horton? "

I know I always get confused as to which one played first base and which one was the catcher...

Define "we". Got a list?

I have nothing against Palin and think highly of her.

Some of the fanatical worship, though, reminds me of the left's attitude toward Obama.

Not healthy.

Idol worship is bad. Keep an open mind.

“Also many on FR who say they don’t have a candidate are the first to bash or post snarky comments against Palin.”

Now I’m going to state something that Ihave little confidence most Palinistas will comprehend much less understand...by I will anyway.

99% of what you perceive to be snarky comments against Palin are actually snarky comments aimed at her most illogical and profanity laden supporters.

The same thing happened to Alan Keyes. History. Learn it, love it, live it.

Take a third and a fourth look. Then let us know if the horse was dead before you entered it in the race.

“Is Willy Norton related to Willie Horton?”

Is that a Country/Western song? It sound familiar. Maybe it is just the Willie Nelson sound alike?

Hi BobJ,

Just one question for you: Why the derisive term “Palinistas” for Palin’s patriots?

" I wouldn’t care if she was a VP though, just NOT President"

Somewhat irrational statement?....

Why would any politically sane person and/or a true Conservative vote for a presidential candidate that had a running mate who was not qualified to be President?

"They have quite a background of what they did in Arkansas. "

What, exactly, is it that Palin did in Arkansas?

I do not see the term “Palinista” as derisive, it is descriptive. I group Palin supporters and leaners in 3 categories;

1. Undecided - People who will keep an open mind about her during the next 3 years. Actually, I’m in this category.

2.Palinite - Leaning to Palin but could change their support if another more attractive candidate burst on the scene.

3. Palinista - Those who will crawl over broken glass to not only voter for her but also spike any negative facts and attack and destroy any critic with dares raise any ugly pot holes about a Palin candidacy. A truly unhealthy position.

BTW - Maybe you could explain your use of the phrase “Palin Patriot”?
