Global warming 'caused by sun's radiation' Global warming is caused by radiation from the sun, according to a leading scientist speaking out at an alternative ‘sceptics conference’ in Copenhagen.

As the world gathered in the Danish capital for the UN Climate Change Conference, more than 50 scientists, businessmen and lobby groups met to discuss the arguments against man made global warming.
Although the meeting was considerably smaller than the official gathering of 15,000 people meeting down the road, the organisers claimed it could change the course of negotiations.
Professor Henrik Svensmark, a physicist at the Danish National Space Center in Copenhagen, said the recent warming period was caused by solar activity.
He said the last time the world experienced such high temperatures, during the medieval warming period, the Sun and the Earth were in a similar cycle.
Professor Nils-Axel Morner, a geologist from Stockholm University, said sea level rise has also been exaggerated by the “climate alarmists” using computer models.
He said observational data from lake sediments, coast lines and trees show sea levels have remained stable.
Professor Cliff Ollier, another geologist from the University of Western Australia, also said the environmental lobby have got it wrong on ice caps. He said the melting of ice sheets is caused by geothermal activity rather than global surface temperatures.

If one stands outside unclothed for a half hour or so, the energy CAN BURN YOUR SKIN.
The sun is certainly the most important component of any climate equation.
When anthropogenic global warming becomes a myth and the consensus once again parallels scientific evidence, I will have to look for a new “consensus” to debunk.
I am favoring on promoting abiotic oil and maybe “speed of light not a constant”, of course the latter would have no effect on real life for a century or so. Do you have any other ideas? ;-)

Our planet, humans, weather and all things, have been changing since day one. Absolutely nothing remains constant.... if this were not true, we would be eating dinosaurs on Holidays and each other during lean times. LOL

This is the most concisely comprehensive description I’ve read of what’s happening! I really like this guy and the article is a sparkling jewel.
Two minor flaws in it - possible spelling mistakes: in the first line of the eighth paragraph, “phase” should be “faze”.
Then, the first word in the second line of the ninth paragraph is “affects” and it should be the noun “effects”.
I still give him an “A-double plus” because in this case the content far outweighs the form.

We wouldn’t be having this converation today if it wasn’t for Carl Sagan and his refusal to accept the reason Venus is HOT because it is a younger planet. He invented the ‘runaway greenhouse effect’ in a pathetic attempt to explain the temperature of Venus - and we’ve been having the greenhouse effect shoved down our throats ever since...only now it’s called global warming and it suits the criminal control freaks to blame it on us!
Carl Sagan should have been stopped dead in his tracks when he first popped his stupid astronomer head into the subject:
