I suppose this will be a controversial topic, but I was wondering if everyone feels it's a good idea to keep demanding to see Obama's birth certificate?
If his ratings fall enough, do you think there will be an increase in demands to see it?
Do you think continue asking for this makes people doubt the President, or to conservatives?
How important would you rate this issue compared to other things in the news (healthcare, climategate, stimulus2, etc.)?
While I didn’t mention birth records, I most certainly do think we should be able to see them. If their are extenuation circumstances like a person being able to get one after the fact in a given state, we should know everything there is to know about the exact certificate they have.
All this would be covered under “Health” medical records...

Actually, it is a joke. You can demand till hell freezes and all you’ll get is squat.
Think of a different way to achieve the objective.
Here’s the deal, Obama rode in on a wave of good will and trust. He was the most SEEMINGLY trustworthy politician ever, and he used that not many people knew the REAL him or history to his advantage. As people come to terms with recognizing that he is worse than the average lying politician, he also is a jerk, then the birth certificate issue will rise up. It will be the issue of “If he lied about that, maybe he DID lie about the birth certificate. And why WON’T he show it?”
So yes, keep the heat on!
Who paid for Obama’s education? This isn’t limited to his birth records.
The kid was a general screw-off in high-school, and had a run-in with the law. How did he get admitted to the university he did?
There is a lot we don’t know about this guy. We should have full access. Sadly, when folks go postal because they think we’ve been given access, or already know all we need to know, they’re playing into the mindset of the left.
Shouldn’t we know if his thesis trashed Capitalism and the United States?
I want to know every speck of information about this guy.
Regardless of his ratings and his poll numbers, the BC issue is a critical Constitutional issue and deserves a full and complete hearing and resolution.

Well, if, as it would appear, Obama has committed a criminal fraud, and probably is involved in a criminal conspiracy in association with Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and others, I fail to see why we should give them a free pass on it.
I don’t want a criminal, Communist, Muslim, American-hating, Kenyan racist in the White House. He is doing his best to destroy our country and wreck the lives of our children.
Not only conservatives should demand to see Obama’s BC — every American who respects his country should want to make sure that there is no illegal alien living in the White House. Isn’t anyone concerned about safeguarding our national security? Every day that we have a potential foreigner in the WH is another day that we are gambling with our safety.
Every other POTUS underwent a background investigation. Why should this one be held above the law? Are there racial considerations, perhaps? If that is the case, we’re really selling out our country for a politically correct reason.
Not with a Congress under the control of the far Left of the Democrat Party. Won't happen ... not no how ... (unless, of course, the Democrats no longer control both houses, say after November 2010...)

They could produce a full dossier on Joe the plumber Wurzelbacher in 24 hours but they couldn’t do anything on Baraq in 24 months? And all his historical records are in a lockbox? Horsehockey.
I think the best strategy is for states to update their election laws to MAKE the Secretary of State make publically avialable proof of citizenship as part of getting on the ballot.
Obviously it would take an All Republican state to pass this, one with a Republican governor.

Conservatives? Everyone should be demanding it. How sad that the country can’t be bothered to check even this most basic of issues: who the heck the man is, where he was born, and if he’s eligible to hold the office he now claims.
You’re sick of birth certificate threads? You don’t care that a pretender might well be holding the highest office in the land, and that his intent could well be to destroy our country? Please bear in mind that if that pretender has his way, you won’t have to worry about reading such threads. You’ll only be able to read the ones the Politburo allows you to read.
