I suppose this will be a controversial topic, but I was wondering if everyone feels it's a good idea to keep demanding to see Obama's birth certificate?
If his ratings fall enough, do you think there will be an increase in demands to see it?
Do you think continue asking for this makes people doubt the President, or to conservatives?
How important would you rate this issue compared to other things in the news (healthcare, climategate, stimulus2, etc.)?
I’d rather see a dozen birth certificate threads than one more dumb ass Tiger Woods thread.

They should demand Barack’s Student Loan applications and school records. They should demand to see his Indonesian Passport. And what is the date he received his US Passport?
Yeah...keep after it! Something is wrong there or it would have been produced. I’d like to see Sarah Palin get hers and display it to the press and say...okay where’s yours Zero?
I would think that impeachment would be the quickest way to rid this country of all the destruction this man, and his mob, are planning for America.
First, it was fellow his Dems who started the issue when he “ah, disposed of Hillary”. Second, The Dems made a big deal of demanding and receiving John McCain’s birth certificate. They then immediately challenged his eligibility to run for office because he was born in Panama even though his parents were both U.S. Citizens. Why this isn’t a big deal is that we have propagandists not reporters running the traditional news agencies.
Yeah, I’ve demanded it, but Obamao is scared, real scared, and he isn’t about to let that BC come out of hiding. I think he would rather resign first.

The whole reason he keeps ignoring the requests to see it — is because he makes the “birthers” look like crazy people, and links them to the tea parties, republicans, etc.
If we keep insisting that he was born in Kenya, we’ll be called kooks. So we should demand to know why he keeps a law firm on retainer and has spent about a million dollars to avoid showing his records— not just the BC, but all his records. What is he hiding?
Nope. The onus is on Barry O. and I have several, very strident lefty, frinds who are asking me about this.
I had never discussed the subject with them and when I unload and tell them the facts, they are each shocked and want to know how this could happen.
They want to know how Barry O. can even think of passing off The COLB and why he doesn’t just produce the long form, which is more familiar to them.
They have even brought up his entrance into the school system and want to know why “we” don’t just show them ourselves.
Of course, they are amazed to learn they are missing.
They are also becoming concerned their can’t close a closet door, much less a deal.

Yes, I think it is a very good idea. If his ratings fall enough, I think there will be an increase in demands to see it. I don’ know or care whether continuing to ask for this makes people doubt the President or conservatives.
I think this is a chronic problem, and the others that you mentioned (healthcare, climategate, stimulus2, etc.) are acute problems. Fortunately, we can multitask.
Ok ask yourself one question:
Do you believe in the Constitution or not?
We should be able to see every speck of information regarding our presidential candidates.
Health
Education
Foreign trips
Living abroad
Passports
Social Security validation and the determination if a candidate has more than one, and why
What government services have they been on
Who has gifted them with money for education, travel, other amenities
What associations have they belonged to in the U.S.
Who else belongs to those associations
What groups have they bee associated with while living abroad
Who belongs to those associations
What ideas have they supported
What is their total lifetime of published works, we should be able to read all of it
What papers did they submit during their time in the education system, we should be able to read all of it
What businesses have they been affiliated with
What business partners have they had
What aliases have those partners used
What aliases has the candidate used in their lifetime
Who has sponsored them with donations, logistical or other forms of tangible support
I believe in everyone’s freedom of speech and association. I also believe that when it comes to our political leaders, we have a right to know what they said and who they associated with
I’d like to see a financial report for every national and state level political figure, showing what their financial standing was upon entry into public service, what their salaries were each year they served, and what their financial worth is today.
How do people go to Washington, D.C., barely being a millionaire (if that), and wind up being multi-millionaires on the salaries they are paid?
ABSOLUTELY! Have Palin show her birth certificate on camera and for all to scrutinize and then say, Where’s zero’s?
