Twin sisters, Obama on parallel paths for years
Born in same hospital within hours of each other, educated together
Retracing the steps of history, Eleanor Nordyke now realizes that she was in labor with twin daughters while Barack Obama, now the president-elect, was being born at what is now Kapi-’olani Medical Center for Women & Children.
The twins, Susan “Nunu” Bell and Gretchen “Nini” Worthington, were not only born in the same hospital hours after the future president, but also ended up in the same classes with Obama at Noelani Elementary School and later at Punahou School from the seventh grade to graduation in 1979.
“I think it was remarkable that they just so happened to be born within 24 hours of each other and grew up knowing each other,” Nordyke said.
She did not know Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, while they were in labor together on Aug. 4, 1961, at the old Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital.
But Nordyke was a population research fellow at the East-West Center while Dunham was there. And Nordyke later met Madelyn Dunham — Ann Dunham’s mother and Obama’s grandmother — during a cruise to Tahiti in 2002.
“She was placed at our table on the ship,” Nordyke said. “She sat with us on that ship for three weeks. She told us that her daughter had passed away and that she had raised her grandson, and he was a social worker in Chicago.”
When Obama was making his successful presidential run, Nordyke realized that her daughters were born within hours of him at the same hospital.
The Hawai’i certificate of live birth that Obama displays on his Web site shows he was born at 7:24 p.m. on Aug. 4.
Nordyke was well into labor by then with girls who were three weeks premature. By 2 p.m. the following day, Susan was born at 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and Gretchen weighed in at 6 pounds, 4 ounces.
As toddlers, the girls called each other “Nunu” and “Nini” “and the other children picked it up, and we held onto it all this time,” Nordyke said.
With the names Nordyke and Obama, the twins were often pictured near Obama in their class yearbooks, their mother said.
The daughters now live on the Mainland, and neither returned repeated telephone messages seeking comment.
But one or both may return to Honolulu in June when their class celebrates its 30th reunion, Nordyke said.
FEC filings show Obama paid his personal attorney almost a million ($889,000. or close)the last time I looked. He used campaign funding which was almost gone by his november, december '08 filings.
Obama sued because of presidential action is paid by the people. Obama's refusal to show a document for some nefarious reason should not be paid by taxpayers or the DOJ used. DOJ is there for the people. Not to hide presidential felonies.
If Obama released his BC in court, forensics declared it authentic and it was traceable to Hawaii records,this issue would be dropped by the majority. It is his refusal that has created this fiasco.His I am better than you arrogance.
If the BC has two foreign born parents then the issue of eligibility would become front and center. The argument would be what is considered NBC. I would expect Ginsberg to say Obama is NBC because her grandson is.
If the BC says,Stanley Ann was employed by CPUSA,then it is a embarrassment for Obama.
If Obama had a late filed BC, there would be a amendment. Like,mother issued a letter informing about the birth and was accepted by the courts for late filing. That's a problem for obama because he said hewas born in a hospital where there would not be a late filing. Plus BC's were given to foreign born at the time in Hawaii.
If Obama never formally changed his name back from Soetoro after he came back from Jakarta,then he has a problem on legal documents, law license, filing in each state for POTUS run, etc.
I agree with the Chrysler lawsuit by the plaintiff. They have standing to ask if Obama was eligible to be POTUS. They have a right to know if he is eligible before going forward to fight the Unconstitutional way this was done by Obama and his radical admin. Was Obama eligible to make the decision to ruin their livelihood? If not then it will be the American people who pay them back for everything they lost.
Considering there was no rhyme or reason to which dealerships were shut down. Some say those shut down were partisan reasons only. And the fact with one phone call some in Obama's admin were able to stop the shutting down of a particular dealership of a buddy says this court case has a very good chance of winning.
I agree that Obama is probably hiding something (perhaps an illegitimate birth) but there is no doubt about his citizenship, that is unless you can show that his legal mother was not American born. If you can’t, case closed: he is a natural born American citizen.
Interesting response. Are you arguing that if Andy Jackson was born in 1790, the fact that both his parents were foreign born WOULD have been disqualified from becoming president on that basis? Are you arguing that Spiro Agnew was not a legal veep because his father was Greek? If so, you stand completely alone in making this argument in the entire sweep of American history.
Realistically, do you think that the framers had the foresight to, and would accept a British citizen (Indonesian?) to be the President (usurper) of the new United States of America???
Read U.S. Constitution Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5, you’ll get the answer.
There is no proof Obama is a NBC. NONE! If there was obama would have sent a lapdog into court with the document. His copy would never make first base in court and he knows it.

I have shown it for much less than running for president. In fact the things I did show it for I can be a foreign born. POTUS cannot. YOU are actually posting that POTUS does not have to verify citizenship? Otherwise that makes no sense.
Because I do not want to pay for Obama's legal defense because he refuses to show his BC as we all have to do when it is basic and very simple to do. Can't help you there. Sue the President and the U.S. Attorney's office handles the defense. It's the way it's always been.

Essaye said that as of the end of October Clinton's legal bills totaled $9 million.
And again, the Obama campaign prof erred a COLB it claimed to have obtained from Hawaii. The State of Hawaii does not dispute the accuracy of the information, and has in fact affirmed that information for anyone willing to listen.
So yeah, it is fake just because you say so, which does mean nothing.
