Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site

Free Republic is a fringe right-wing Christian fundamentalist site... or so they say... and they might even be right.

We don't go for any of that godless left-wing big government socialist malarkey. And we do put our faith and trust in God, not government. We are pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Country and pro-Liberty.

We do not believe that government or science knows what's best for us or our children. We will make our own decisions thank you very much.

Every once in a while some group of posters get together and try to bend Free Republic to their will. Now, we tend to be pretty free-wheeling around here and will take a lot of guff and a lot of obnoxious insults from a lot of people, but eventually a breaking point is reached.

For example, when a group of RINO lovers recently banded together to try to force FR to accept an abortionist/gay rights RINO as our presidential candidate, they soon found themselves on the outs.

And a few years ago a group of evolutionists tried to force FR over to their way of thinking and they soon found themselves on the outs.

FR is a pro-God, pro-Creator, pro-Life, pro-Liberty site.

And now we have yet another group of Darwinists trying to have their Darwinist way with us. Well, as I've said before what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger.

Darwin Central has again declared war on FR. They have ping lists and email lists and will try to pull away as many FReepers as they possibly can. So be it. Those who would rather go with Darwin, please go. I sure as hell won't try to stop you.

FR will remain a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-Creator conservative site.

We wholeheartedly believe that our unalienable rights are a gift from God our Creator not from man or government. And no man, no government will ever deprive us of same.

Keep your powder dry.

You want to buy into the Leftwingtard definition of "fundamental" that's your problem, not mine.

It's time to TAKE BACK THE LANGUAGE.

I am a religious guy (Catholic, though a skeptical one), but I keep it to myself. I get uncomfortable with Christians that seem to want to exclude non-Christians or non-believers just because they are such. I went through a time when I was an atheist but I never gave up the ideas of Republicanism, meaning we have rights that transcend gov’t. The Founders said “Creator”, not “Christian God”. You could believe you were created by Gaia or whatever and still know that your Fundamental Rights exist.

“while we are “proving” evolution because some monkeys in a jungle figured out how to use a rock to smash open a nut.”

ROFL!!!! I know!!! I’ve always thought their rationale was bizarre, considering they can’t explain why some species have not yet evolved at all.

But back to the topic...Thank you, Jim. I hate to see a Conservative forum tainted by the left which only wants to water down our principles. Thanks for keeping FR as it is: CONSERVATIVE.

I wholeheartedly agree with that! People have been indoctrinated into upholding a spurious “freedom” (”freedom” to be as perverted as they wanna be) in order to distract them from the constant abrogation of their God-given true liberties and freedom. The more they think society is more “free” these days, the more they’re blinded to their ongoing enslavement.

When the first Antarctic ice core material began to reach public consciousness back in the late 1960s it became pretty obvious that we were "overdue" for the next major glaciation.

We are still "overdue" ~ however, after lengthy study of the situation backed up with geologic research there are some "theories" about why we are "overdue" and what might be happening.

Please don't get it in your head that Global Warming has put an end to the Ice Ages ~ there've been 20 of them in a row, and there's going to be many more of them.

You might have noticed that the GW/AGW folks never tell you about the cooling trends ~ and, in fact, like Dr. Mann have actually attempted to distort the records regarding the Medieval Warm Period just to make any recent warming seem unusual. That's because they do not want to face up to the fact that the ice core records clearly show that we are OVERDUE!

Some earlier Ice Ages were a tad overdue as well. The simplest explanation is that for a variety of little understood reasons the end of the then current Interglacial merged into an early Interstadial. We may be in that situation now, in which case we might have 1 to 5,000 years before the next major glaciation. Or, it could start this winter ~ just give us some major volcanic eruptions, combined with the current cool-dry air flows, an El Nino at the wrong place, or stronger than usual (pumping up vast quantities of near freezing water from the ocean bottom), and you'll get your Ice.

The Bible teaches us that no man knows the time nor place of his own death ~ and I think we have that in spades at the moment. We are standing on the precipice!

Hmm ~ "Racist and Nazi Sympathizer" ~ here's a problem for you and everybody else who pops that one into any debate ~ we need to know WHO you believe to be a "Racist and Nazi Sympathizer". There are a number of quite honest, non-racist, non-Nazi sympathizer types out there who get accused of it with little or no justification. Then there are the guys into that business as a professional matter.

Might note that you can't trust Southern Poverty Center appellations in these matters either ~ so don't drag in their material.

Just curious in regard to who you think meets the standard.

Fur Shur I always tell you who I think is a fascist and why ~
