Bingo. A friend of mine lives right outside of Houston, she says when the Katrina migration happened Houston immediately went way downhill.

Why does this woman have the need to describe what she eats at bedtime when running for mayor?

I can hardly wait for the first openly adulterous mayor of a big city. That will be a real break through.

Not a lot you can do about that at this point. My sympathies.

I don’t understand why a behavioral choice deserves special recognition. Can we have the first openly rye-toast-enthusiast mayor, too?

Your wait is over.

Rudolph William Louis "Rudy" Giuliani (^) (pronounced /ˈruːdi ˌdʒuːliːˈɑːni/;[1] born May 28, 1944) is an American lawyer, businessman and politician from New York. He served as Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001.

Highlights include (but are not limited to: On Father's Day in 1995 Giuliani had told reporters that he was returning to Gracie Mansion to play ball with Andrew. However, he instead went to City Hall, to a basement suite with his press secretary. Three hours later, Hanover, angered, appeared at City Hall; a mayoral aide prevented her from entering the suite.[190]

I always thought Houston was pretty far down the hill anyway.

You may have noticed that homosexuality is a bit more controversial than rye toast-eating. Hence the newspaper report. Do you understand now?

When I lived in Texas 20 years ago, there was a huge gay area of Houston in Montrose. I’m sure it’s even bigger now.

It’s always been a very, very liberal city.
