On the air today, popular radio host Glenn Beck mocked "birthers" and claimed there is a concerted campaign to get those questioning Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility onto the airwaves – a strategy Beck said would actually benefit Obama.
"There's always games being played behind the scenes at a talk radio show," Beck said. "Rush has always called them seminar callers. But instead of being coy with the seminar callers or with you, I'm just going to expose the game that is going on. Today there is a concerted effort on all radio stations to get birthers on the air."
"I have to tell you, are you working for the Barack Obama administration?" Beck scoffed. "I mean, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."
The ongoing dialogue then spun off into ridicule as Beck caricatured those who question the sitting president's eligibility with straw-man arguments reminiscent of jibes made by Obama's apologists in other news outlets.
Beck defined birthers as people who believe Obama was born in Kenya or other foreign country, was raised as a Manchurian candidate and somehow brainwashed Hillary Clinton into not exposing his fraud. According to Beck's running joke, birthers believe someone – maybe Obama's KGB "control" – preemptively placed Obama's birth announcement in 1961 Hawaiian newspapers with a "roadmap" of getting an African man into office.
As for Obama producing a long-form birth certificate to actually prove his place of birth, Beck questioned, "Why do that when these people ['birthers'] are so discrediting themselves?"

The radio host further argued that by distracting the public from actionable issues, "birthers" have become "a dream come true" for Obama, an ideal situation akin to the fantasies of adolescent boys after Hollywood bombshells.

I’m actually tired of going round and round with these arguments in these threads, each time having to re-explain the reasoning to those who can’t be bothered to keep up.
Obama’s mother was too young to automatically confer citizenship to her son at the time of his birth. In order to be an automatic citizen, either his father would have to be a US citizen, or he would have had to have been born on US soil. Since his father was NOT a US citizen, that leaves only the location of birth. Given Hawaii’s lax attitude regarding that in 1961 (as in, you can tell us days or weeks after the birth that the kid was born in your house and we’ll treat it the same as if he were born in a hospital) it would have been zero risk and avoided tremendous legal hassle for the grandparents simply to report the birth after the fact as having been in Hawaii. Who would know better? Who would ever care enough to research it? The grandparents couldn’t have known that one day Barack would run for president, so they would have no reason to worry that someone would look into it.
This theory requires some supposition, but so does any theory, including those that assume he was, indeed, born in Hawaii. If he would release the birth certificate as McCain did, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. But he won’t. That fact alone should make any sane person ask why. So far we have zero concrete evidence that he was born in Hawaii. The Hawaii officials issue only vague statements that they have certified he HAS a birth certificate, and a newspaper announced that he was, in fact, born. Whoopee.

Another issue puzzles me. After fear of immediate repercussions has passed, and the fact of Obama’s ineligibility has been accepted, everyone with the means who has been injured by his actions will, and should, sue for damages. Senators, all of whom signed Senate Res. 511, may be protected, even though they lied about the jus sanguinis requirement - citizen parents. Orren Hatch even explored an amendment to Article II in 2003, to permit Arnold Schwarzenegger to run. Now he claims not to understand the definition he wanted to change.
Every bill Obama signed, every appointment seems challengable. He has no authority to conclude a contract. His judicial appointments too are illegitimate. Some day this judgment must come because recovery from the damages being caused will justify the filing of the case, though probably not until after Obama is out of office, since he now has the justice department spending our money to protect him.
We have virtual one party government now, with only the slightest separation of powers. As you pointed out, our supreme court not only has original jurisdiction, it has the obligation to address “Cases in law arising under this Constitution”. From Marbury v. Madison: “The Constitution is either a superior, paramount law, unchangeable by ordinary means, or it is on a level with ordinary legislative acts, and, like other acts, is alterable when the legislature shall please to alter it.
If the former part of the alternative be true, then a legislative act contrary to the Constitution is not law; if the latter part be true, then written Constitutions are absurd attempts on the part of the people to limit a power in its own nature illimitable.” Obama’s lack of authority means the legislation he signs is not law.
There is other case law which clarifies that the supreme court shall address direct violations of provisions of the constitution, and address them before taking more appelate cases. “Standing” issues are not defined in the Constitution, and not relevent.
Obama’s handlers know of his ineligibility. So do Republicans, who have paid some of the same law firms which defend Obama (Kendall and Ellis), to defend McCain in three lawsuits questioning his natural born credentials. Perhaps that is one of the reasons to spend as much of our capital as possible as quickly as possible? This is a Constitutional crisis which will only get worse the longer we have an ineligible executive making decisions which must be undone because they are not legal.
How stupid! Yeah. FOX is always presenting Obama in the best light and always overlooking his transgressions.

It's time for the State governments to stand up and enforce their Constitutions against the Federal bureaucracy with its compromised emotionally crippled dependents that have chosen to ignore theirs.
