Is the Secret Service Targeting the Birthers?

Over the past year, Secret Service agents charged with protecting President Obama seem to have taken a keen interest in the Birther movement, the committed group of anti-Obama activists around the country who claim the president was born in Kenya, not Hawaii, and is thus ineligible to serve. The idea has been widely and repeatedly debunked (see FactCheck.org's thorough takedown here), but that hasn't stopped Birthers from doggedly making their case in American courtrooms, to US attorneys, and even to a rural county grand jury, in the hopes that a judge will rule in their favor and Obama might eventually be removed from office. Those efforts have failed spectacularly, but they seem to have succeeded in placing the Birthers on the radar of the Secret Service.

IMO, in the 0b0z0 era, secret service (SS!) = secret police.

I will stick up for the ‘certificaters’(since I got called a liberal on this thread for defending Obama LOL) . They dont seem to be relevent to anything right now. Not hurting 2010. MSNBC loves them, but who watches that? It’s jobs, health-care, terrorism, deficit that is killing Obama (stuff that has some relevence.)

Now in 2012 I predict whoever gets the nomination will disown the ‘certificaters’.

Natural born is an **intrinsic** quality in the same way race or eye color is inherited. A thousand oaths will not make Obama a natural born citizen if he isn't one now.

I think he is signing laws now and they are being enforced. Pretty sure that is happening.

Maybe if Palin gets the nomination we can get her to run on the US defaulting on the national debt because Obama wasnt president and couldnt legally spend the money. Every bondholder would get a copy of his birth certificate instead on the money owed.

That alone should win 50 states.

We should file lawsuits against the 365 electors who put Obama in office for “conspiracy to commit election fraud” One of them is bound to crack.

Although we elected the electors, we're going to be told that we don't have "standing!" Go figure!

Again, even with evidence, you defended Sanger. Now you are trying to marginalize those who want Obama to prove his eligibility. When called on it, you use classic examples of Rules for Radicals. I'm not the only one who sees something wrong.

I got tagged last night.

At least they give you some sort of notice. "They" just freeze my puter when I try to reply about the BC. It's happened about about a dozen times in the past 10 months and... just now in the middle of this sentence it did a pause thing... Hi there you big sexy black-suited man behind the screen! I was going to say that I usually log back on and tell them hello so it's in the archives. Just glad to see it's not just me.

... and it keeps pausing... let's see if it'll let me post...
