A Stability Police Force for the United States: RAND CORP CALLS FOR NATIONAL POLICE FORCE???
RAND COPORATION ^ | 2009 | By: Terrence K. Kelly, Seth G. Jones, James E. Barnett, Keith Crane, Robert C. Davis, Carl Jensen

I know someone who purchased this from RAND.

By page 19 this report goes from discussing the need for a Special Police Force overseas to supplement interventions, to suddenly needing a force that can circumvent Posse Comitatus.

Posse Comitatus exists for a reason and any attempt to circumvent it, not matter how nicely packaged, is a step on the way to "Special" police becoming "Secret" police.

They call it :A STABILITY POLICE FORCE: This study asks several questions. First, is a Stability Police Force (SPF) necessary? An SPF is a high-end police force that engages in a range of tasks such as crowd and riot control, special weapons and tactics (SWAT), and investigations of organized criminal groups. In its ability to operate in stability operations, it is similar to such European forces as the Italian Carabinieri and French Gendarmerie. Its focus on highend tasks makes it fundamentally different from UN or other civilian police, who deal with more routine law and order functions. It is also different from most military forces, which are generally not trained and experienced to conduct policing tasks in a civilian environment. Second, if an SPF is necessary, what should it look like? This includes considering such issues as: its objectives, tasks, and size; its speed of deployment; its institutional capabilities; where it should be headquartered in the U.S. government and how it should be staffed (standing force, reserve force, and hybrid force); and its cost.

Thanks RB. I read it. It is a National Police Force “just as strong, just as well equipped and trained as the US Military.” BamBam fascist/globalist dream come true.

It may have already been created in one of those quick and dirty multi-thousand page leglislative actions.

Reference number 34: “Policing for a New World Order”

Here is what the President’s DOJ National police force would do from page 28: Intellegence collection and analysis on hostile and criminal groups in area of operation; riot control; establish neighborhood spy networks; collect information on population religious and ethnic factions; control local population’s behavior through police tatics; send spies into civilian organizations to determine their intentions and activities; police elections; protect election officials and elected officials.

Hey, this is just what we need!/s/ I am dang sick and tired of these fascist anti-constitutional, unAmerican freaks. This whole paper is designed to slip in this National police force in the spirit of “how can we fool ‘em next.” I don’t trust either party in Congress to protect us from this ever growing oppression.

Your right that this is something he can get Republicans and Democrats to agree on. All any politician has to allude to is law, order and safety and the masses will shiver in erotic anticipation at the prospect of putting their neighbors in their place. Because they are pissed off anytime they see anything out of ordinary and want those people controlled and by controlled I mean RIGHT NOW!

Public safety should be the first priority of every State and local government. W/o the rule of law, there is just the circumstances the fascists need to move in on us and never leave.

“What would a small riot police force do if 300 million people calmly and rationally decided we wanted to change leadership and ignored our current leaders in favor of a new government?”

They would be cannon-fodder which will be wiped out by the combined forces of armed citizens, military and national guard. Their formation will also be the last mistake the elites in this country ever make.

If Americas government becomes more authoritarian and any resistance develops, I envision the government offering citizens necessities (food, fuel etc.) in exchange for their informing on gun owners, or anybody participating in any resistance activities. It's useful I think, to remember that if our way of life is attacked, that nearly half (possibly more)of our "countrymen" will be on the governments side. Many informants will be peoples own children.

This calls for a new tagline. the old one, "Neca eos omnes. Deus suos agnoscet", was appropriate for the misnamed war on terror. I briefly considered "Semper ubi sub ubi" after the recent terrorist incident. Now due to the more serious threat, I have chosen a new more appropriate latin phrase. the motto of the First Continental Regiment of the Revolutionary war, meaning "I refuse to be subjugated"

Rand has studied all scenarios. My buddy worked there and said Rand had a contingency plan for an invasion from space.

RAND corporation is nothing but a government contractor and should be considered a quasi-government agency by all private citizens.

Americans have proven by the laws they demand that liberty is not what they want. Americans want order and safety. Liberty is scary because it includes responsibility for the fall out of what you do. Americans chose what they wanted a long time ago and built a ground up security apparatus to implement it. So it will be very easy, just a slight change in funding and lines of authorities and your local police won’t work for you any longer. They will work for the Feds. But Americans built this infrastructure with their own hands and with their own tax dollars because they wanted to be safe. Protected from their own stupidity and the stupidity of others. They decided to go to war against “reefer madness” aka the drug war. They empowered RICCO. They wanted cameras and strict strict strict traffic enforcement. They asked for implied consent on drivers licenses to get around probable cause. Americans despised the liberty of their fore fathers and demanded control and safety.

“INTERPOL can operate in the US and is not bound by the US Constitution.”

Interpol is not an elite fighting force about to invade South Carolina and round up gunowners coast to coast.

Interpol is a bunch of fat bureaucrats sitting in Europe who shuffle papers and surf the net. The idea of confronting well-armed hunters and combat vets in the American hinterlands would horrify Interpol bureaucrats.

“Of course stepping over the bodies of the tyrants and their collaborators will be something of an aerobic workout...”

Never happen. Conservative patriots don’t litter. The bodies of tyrants and their collaborators would be stacked like cordwood as far as the eye can see.

I freely admit that I have no deep knowledge of this stuff. But I would think that a tiered effort might be attempted:

1) The Council of Governors would control the National Guard which, theoretically, would be in a position to confront well-armed hunters.

2) The Stability Police Force would go house to house in pacified areas, acting like a SWAT team, and round up people for questioning.

3) Interpol is in charge of "rendition centers" where prisoners are taken and forced to confess. No Constitutional rights for folks at those locations.

If you think about what Obama has put in place, he's got control of military forces, law forces, and legal forces. This can be quite an effective infrastructure.
