CPAC keeps GOProud, loses other sponsor (Liberty Law School Withdraws Sponsorship)
One News Now ^ | 01-13-10 | Jim Brown

Posted on 01/13/2010 9:43:02 AM PST by icwhatudo

Liberty University Law School has withdrawn as a co-sponsor of next month's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington because a Republican homosexual activist group is being allowed to co-sponsor the event.

---snip----

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin recently rejected an invitation from David Keene to speak at CPAC. According to a source close to Palin, the event is a forum that will put "special interests over core beliefs" and "pocketbook over policy."

Dave Keene’s embracing the sodomy lobby is he? There is probably a larger story behind this. I’d like to know the real reason.

CPAC is a boob bait trap for conservatives. David ‘Hairpiece’ Keene is an Arlen Spector loving, Romney loving, check cashing too long in Washington fraud. Who can be bought for lunch money.

Any RINO can get a great CPAC rating, by gaming the ‘system’.
IE vote for never going to happen, or not important anyways conservative stuff which will be weighted the same as important votes.

IE, fighting to name an off ramp after a WWII vet gets you one CPAC vote. Do that small stuff a hundred times, and then vote for TARP. CPAC rating? 99%.

CPAC is for suckers.

a repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy

I could understand if a homo believed in conserving America, in which case they would know that what they do is not productive or conducive to the continuation of a society. But to be pro-forcing-it-on-society and into-the-military - they're NOT conservative, they're NOT GOP - they're LEFTIST PLANTS. I guarantee it.

“CPAC is for suckers”

the left has a standard modus operandi - demonize, infiltrate & subvert - DIS.

they will demonize us, and simultaneously push to infiltrate & subvert.

There are leftists pushing very hard at the door of the “tea party movement” right now, every day, trying to get in, trying to get up, and then trying to control.

They do it EVERY single time. And because we’re Christians all loving & caring, they have always managed it. But don’t only be as harmless as doves, also be as WISE AS SERPANTS. Do what the left does: keep blacklists, whitelists, NEVER make them public. KNOW who’s who.

Steve Schmidt, in addition to attacking Palin:

Senior GOP Consultant Backs Gay Marriage

Steve Schmidt, a top adviser to Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) 2008 presidential campaign, today laid out the case for gay marriage, warning that the GOP will continue to lose young voters and the Northeast as long the party opposes it.

At a meeting in Washington of the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay rights GOP group, Schmidt dismissed conservative arguments that allowing gay marriage would weaken the institution, as well as objections from religious conservatives, warning that they could turn the Republican Party into a "sectarian" party.

He called heterosexual marriage "a tradition,"not a "creed."

...a repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy...

And what would be wrong with that? Soldiers should be judged on their behaviour while on duty and their ability to follow orders, not on the fact that they let slip that they stay with a boyfriend while on leave.

Simply use the same rules that heterosexual soldiers have to follow with regard to female soldiers and apply them (i.e. the army is not a dating service, other soldiers aren't there for amusement purposes). Whoever can't comply is out.

DADT is just hate-crime legislation in reverse (in that you single out a group for what they are or think and make up special rules instead of having the same set of rules for everyone and jugde everyone by his or her actual transgressions), both are moronic. Typically left-wing identity politics.

"One issue I want to clarify concerns President Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t pursue” military policy. I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nation’s military. That goal will only be reached when preventing discrimination against gays and lesbians is a mainstream concern, which is a goal we share."

MONEY!

It has been that way for years as conservatives swallowed the Koolaid of Keene and CPAC. Remember how he allowed Romney high school kids to cast votes for President even though they would not be voting. Romney bused in kids from high school and college and paid for their straw poll ballots which is why I kept saying on here any straw poll at CPAC was bogus. It was only a matter of time until the real truth about the ‘conservative’ Keene came out.

No fags and no fag blood need to be mixing with our GIs.

But DADT doesn't keep gays from serving in the military. In fact it explicitly says that gays can serve as long as they don't tell. The only thing it does is forbid telling, which can either be used to screw the military (e.g. let the military pay for your medical training and then say you're gay) or to screw the soldier (e.g. ignore his or her homosexuality for years and then discharge him before he becomes eligible for benefits).

The irony is: Being HIV-positive while straight is not necessarily a reason for a discharge, whereas saying you're gay is.

It's the same absurd thinking as with hate crime legislation. As if it were something different if I shot a gay guy for fun. Of course it's wrong. BUT NOT because the guy is gay. It's because you don't shoot people for fun. Everything else follows from that.

DADT by the left was a smoke screen that means a few fags can get into the military as long as they can hide it well enough that lazy or liberal commanders can ignore the knowledge that they are homosexual.

Clinton was wrong to do it, I don’t know which branch you were in or if your military job showed you just how intimate soldiering can be, (try two naked men in one sleeping bag), but the mixing of blood and contact is pretty extraordinary. Homosexuals are a disruptive and unnecessary attack by the left, against the military.

I missed the Keane/Fed Ex thing mentioned by others and did some research. Apparently it was a big reason why Palin turned down CPAC:

"At issue is the role of David Keene, head of the American Conservative Union which organizes CPAC. In September, POLITICO reported that Keene asked FedEx for between $2 million and $3 million to get the group's support in a bitter legislative battle with rival UPS.

A source close to the Palin camp says that request led to a decision to stay away from the upcoming CPAC conference, calling it a forum that will place "special interests over core beliefs" and "pocketbook over policy."

"That's not what CPAC should be about and people are tiring," the source said. "Palin is taking a stance against this just as she did in Alaska."

When asked about the move, Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton said: "We support those who advance our core beliefs and lead by principle."

This is yet another infiltration attempt by queers who want to keep their tax money instead of forking it over to the gubmint. But they’d rather hang onto their money by promoting a political party that is sympathetic to individuals hanging onto their money AND also thinks sticking your whang in some guy’s poop chute for funsies and parading down public streets, in front of kids and old people, wearing nothing except a three-foot plastic dildo attached to a thong, plastic leopard stiletto boots and a pink feather boa is perfectly fine.

wolf, if you Brits like queers in your military so much, you can take ALL of ours.

We don’t intend for our military to be another leftist social experiment or, worse, an infiltration of people with behaviors that deliberately undermine the strength of the organization.

I happen to think “Don’t ask, don’t tell” is pretty generous. If queers really just want to serve and have no ulterior motive, they should be fine with the policy.
