Medina refuses to disavow conspiracy theory that U.S. government was behind 9/11 attacks

In a startling statement today, Republican candidate for governor Debra Medina refused to disavow the allegation that the U.S. government was somehow involved in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center towers on 9/11.

Medina made the statement during an interview on the Glenn Beck radio program

That was more than just a little slip. I heard the interview, and I heard all I need to know. She refused to give a definite answer, then she started talking about 'mind control' and 'thought police', etc, etc.

She let the truth slip out. Now it's all back pedaling and spin. It ain't gonna work.

And as regards KBH and Perry, well, I'm from California originally, so I'm simply overjoyed to have someone that conservative to vote for, after the likes of Ahnold and Feinstein and Boxer. So I'm not that worried!

Come on. She followed up with that because she realized that by trying to pander to the 2% of voters that might agree with trutherism, she lost the other 98%.

I don’t understand what it is about hero-worship of politicians that makes people lose all ability for logic and reason.

Well, 9/11 Truthers usually are loudly in support for this idea that Bush and/or our government is complicit in the 9/11 attacks, when in their own group. They usually "waffle" and "shuffle around" when confronted with it, by surprise, in other groups and settings.

And then, they deny it, when their support starts to leak out... :-)
