Rand Paul: Iran Wants Nukes Because It “Feels Threatened”
David Horowitz's NewsRealblog ^ | Calvin Freiburger

Posted on 02/16/2010 2:05:11 PM PST by Michael van der Galien

It turns out that crackpot Ron Paul’s son Rand can understand why poor, innocent Iran might want nuclear weapons—they feel “threatened” by big, bad America (hat tip to Rand Paul: Too Kooky for Kentucky for the video):

Watch it at NRB - sorry, can't embed videos here at FR.

I do so like much of the libertarian thing in theory....

....but every time one of this father/son team opens their mouths....they just prove to be nothing but anti-semites who are opposed to defending America...and are also 9/11 truthers.

so once again I say here in FR, that I am a conservative with small ‘L’ libertarian, leanings.

Well our previous President DID describe them as part of the “Axis of Evil” along with Iraq and Korea. We have overthrown 1 of 3 of the countries so identified, so far. I think the current regime in Iran SHOULD feel threatened by the USA. If we were led by someone like T.R. we’d have already deposed their Ayatollahs and replaced them with modernists friendly to the west.

The question isn’t “why they are doing this” at this point, history is history. It’s “what are we going to do about it”. If anything.

Iran wants nukes because they want to threaten...and carry out the threat.

Yea, I thought the guy was different from his dad. From the interviews I've caught on Fox with him, he seemed pretty level headed and intelligent.

Oh well.

I don't think this is the best way for Rand Paul to be broadening and widening his message to appeal to more primary voters.

There are a lot of blind supporters of the dangerous and naive Rand Paul and his kooky Father. They're called, Paultards.

“Rand Paul on Alex Jones”

That would be Alex “9/11 was done by Bush” Jones.

Based on foreign policy he could be an English professor at AnyState University. Or one of O’s czars.

Too late. She’s already explicitly and publicly endorsed him. He’ll win the primary, too.

Out of context. He was speaking about what his father thinks, not what he thinks. He also was talking about why nation-building doesn’t work.

Right after he said what is quoted here, he reiterated that Ahmadinejad is a nut.

She can admit she made a mistake and people will forgive her and move on. They won’t if we end up with the Republican version of Al Franken in the senate.
