Obama using 'bounty hunters' to root out fraud

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is sending in the bounty hunters to help root out health care fraud.

Keeping up the pressure in his final push to pass health care overhaul, Obama signed an executive order Tuesday that encourages private auditors to search out improper Medicare and Medicaid payments, from billing errors to outright thievery.

Equipped with special computer programs, the auditors would get a cut of whatever they recover for the government.

The Feds don’t care about the privacy issues or HIPPA issues when it comes to the common person, I found that out myself when they advised me that yes my privacy had been violated but they weren’t going to investigate it because I wasn’t eligible for a specific program, then to end the call they told me to go back to Canada leaving behind my U.S. citizen husband! The rules don’t apply then and one must ask why! ID, where I had been living with my husband for seven years has over $1 million dollars in mistaken payments which are NEVER corrected according to an independent audit, and that is just one state, how many other states have as much or more “mistaken payments”?

And just how are these 'private auditors' going to get access to people's healthcare records in order to do this? Has Obama never heard of HIPPA?! Do these 'private auditors' get a special waiver?

I know you all have probably heard this before; but how is this possible? I mean, we saw W’s dental records from the ANG...the arrest report from Kennnebunkport in the 70’s...I do NOT think it is possible that this guy moved through all of the channels he has without a trace, and without SOMEONE leaking SOMETHING...it can only mean he is either a total Manchurian Candidate, a true made from whole cloth product of several lives or lived in such a rabid, bubble-like cocoon of radicals, that they will protect him at all costs...either way, an indictment. I just do not think it is the latter...there is no such thing as an impenetrable conspiracy...something always gives...

I’m not sure there is time to ‘let it run it’s course’ because if we allow this to become ingrained, my grandchild’s generation will grow up thinking that this is normal; never realizing what’s been lost because all the history books will reflect is revisionist history.
