10 AM Rules Committee meeting (C-span2 LIVE all day)
11 AM Stupak press conference
12 PM Demonstration at the Capitol
3 PM Obama meets with the Democratic caucus
Sunday
2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.
Democrats have a 9-4 roster advantage
Riddle me this. Why are we at this late date arguing over Paul Ryan’s plan?
Isn’t this the rules committee meeting to be deciding the rules for the debate?
Nothing- but it doesn’t matter. Ryan is worth a dozen of them! He can think and talk circles around them ALL.

Besides taking up arms, what else could citizens have done? They have been protesting heavily for months, calling their congressmen, attending town halls, and talking to others.

Cavuto on Fox says votes coming in are FOR this bill. Say it isn’t so...
And what about the children of those families who currently have good, employer-provided health care WHO WILL CERTAINLY LOSE THAT GOOD COVERAGE when the government option is mandated?
Because some children don’t have insurance, is it good to ruin it for other children?

It will decide the terms under which the House will vote on the Senate version of the health legislation as well as a subsequent package of legislative “fixes.” The committee — on which Democrats have a 9-4 roster advantage — is expected to approve a so-called “deem-and-pass” strategy, under which the Senate bill would pass as part of the rule for debate and would not be subject to a separate vote.
It must be overloaded. I was just on it and is a very straight forward easy to get info ie phone #’s, web sites, etc. on both the senate and the house.
