2 p.m.: The House will debate for one hour the rules of debate for the reconciliation bill and the Senate bill.
3 p.m.: The House will vote to end debate and vote on the rules of the debate.
3:15 p.m.: The House will debate the reconciliation package for two hours.
5:15 p.m.: The House will vote on the reconciliation package.
5:30 p.m.: The House will debate for 15 minutes on a Republican substitute and then vote on the substitute.
6 p.m.: The House will vote on the final reconciliation package.
6:15 p.m.: If the reconciliation bill passes, the House will immediately vote on the Senate bill, without debate.

Brick thrown through window in Slaughter’s Falls office

NIAGARA FALLS — The “Slaughter Solution” on health care isn’t the only thing that has come under attack in U.S. Rep. Louise M. Slaughter’s world this week. Sometime early this morning, someone threw a brick through the front window of her Pine Avenue office.
The damage was discovered about 12:30 a.m., city police said.
The brick put a hole in the outer-most window at the office at 1910 Pine Ave., but did not damage a second interior window, police reported. A piece of broken brick believed to have caused the damage was found at the scene.
Damage was estimated at $350.
Slaughter, D-Fairport, is head of the House Rules Committee, which will structure the debate on health care reform votes set for this weekend.
Tom Price: Last year they wanted people to vote without reading. This year want people to pass without voting.

Mark said the lady had not correctly stated this particular situation. Because what she was talking about could only apply if a bill was introduced on the floor and 20% could rise and demand a recorded vote.
That isn’t the factual situation here. The bill that was going to be “deemed passed” is what she was trying to say could be forced to a recorded vote, but as Mark pointed out, the bill isn’t on the Floor, it isn’t up for a vote whether by voice or by yeas and neas.
There is no way that a bill not on the Floor for a vote is applicable to the Constitutional language she quoted.

Further discussion with Mark Levin & Rush - her theory was not correct. Mark is well versed in constitutional law and has in fact gotten a lawsuit ready.
Mark said if true would have been used many times before. Has to be used on a bill that is submitted - this bill has not been submitted. And, that they can call for a “roll call” of votes on a bill - but her theory is not actually true.

1) If she did ANYTHING FOR Stupak- she’d lose the 40 women
2) Stupak will NOT budge
3) She’s going to have to find those 12 votes somewhere else or at least a few..
