I see so many people with their hand out, so many people who embrace the victim mentality, so many people unconcerned about what the government is doing, so many people who feel they are owed everything just because they are living here,... at this point I’m not convinced there are enough people left in America to save it.There won't be soon. We are on the edge of the abyss - those working their asses off to pay for those who won't, or even those who can't honestly find work. The indignation of the great country my Dad fought for now going about hat in hand like a pauper to the Chinese to cover our debt is almost too much to stomach.

Yes, that sort of comment has astounded me all day.
These folks keep talking about 35 million new people covered, but don’t really mind they are destroying health care for the other 275 million.

Has anyone on the floor brought up the no reconciliation concerning any bill that “messes” with Social Security? I know it won’t make any difference in the outcome, but it will make it clear that the House voted for the Senate bill with no intention of having the reconciliation pass.

So what is the Over/Under on the idea that we will have a “national emergency” that will prevent either the elections in Nov from occuring or seating of elected Rep’s and Sen’s?IMHO, that's exactly what will happen. And he'll probably call out the National Guard. That's when things will get real dicy.

It clearly states, that the government is not limited to doing anything that they want. Stupak knew it all the time. He is the WORST deceiverCan you believe it? How could you read that thing and not have those two things jump right off the page at you?
And Stupak was reportedly speaking directly with the White House lawyers!!!
I used to think he was sincere in his beliefs, no more.
I'm not a big conspiracy believer. But between the screaming loopholes in the Exec Order, his district's FAA buy off announced Friday, and the tape (made on the qt) stating that he would vote for the bill regardless?
This whole abortion brouhaha looks to be a BIG RUSE cooked up by the Dems to distract us from the underhanded chicanery they were using to ramrod this thing down our throats.
He is indeed a deceiver of the worst sort.
I would say that someday he would get his - unfortunately, they cynic in me knows that's not how it works.
I am good and steamed, can you tell? ;^D
