What if current military servicemembers and honorably discharged veterans were given two votes for having/having had “skin in the game” as the saying goes?
I’m thinking Congress is clueless on what they will unleash with this one. I agree with your observation that rebellion will come but I think the vehicle by which it begins will startle Congress. By that I mean when the permanent leach class feels their “freebies” are threatened or will have to be shared with new leaches......rebellion is coming. Leaches don’t like to share.
The ironic thing is...
if Obama does unleash amnesty upon us...
the damage he has and continues to do to the economy...
will mean fewer and fewer jobs for anyone...
even the illegals!!

Not harsh at all, but pure common sense. I also like your proposal about government workers. They should "recuse" themselves from the vote, as it would be a conflict of interest (or could be).
Your earlier post was on the money too. Few people know that only property owners could vote originally. I wish it were so again, but the dependent class would have none of it.

I've never considered that. To be honest, though, I'm not sure I like the idea of anyone getting two votes. But I certainly would bend the rules for the military in other ways. How so? Even if they weren't taxpayers or property owners, they would ALWAYS be allowed to vote -- even in retirement (as opposed to the dependent class, which would always be denied a vote).

Coordinate, unite, get one a clear message about why this controversial, very troublesome bill will make America worse off, not better. We have to be united on this. I know McCain and Graham are looking at the demographics, but we better get a unified and clear message that can be easily understood about our position on this. We have to stop reacting and marginalizing our own and start winning over the majority.
And the Catholic bishops are on board! They’ve taken a break from funding pro-abortion politicians’ campaigns, and ACORN, etc., and they are already mailing out postcards campaigning for passage of the Permanent Pro-Abortion Majority Act—amnesty for undocumented Democrats.
I’ve always been in favor of each person’s having one vote for each dollar he earned in the previous year, and no one who works for the government or is on the dole having any vote.

So in our history of the United States, we are going to have two Presidents who passed Amnesty...President Reagan and President Obama...what is going on. Although had President Bush been successful, he would have been the third.
