The husband of a military servicewoman living on a Tennessee Naval base is under investigation for posting threatening comments on a radical right-wing Web site, FoxNews.com has learned.

Investigators with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service have seized the man's shotgun and taken it to the armory at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South base in Millington, Tenn. The firearm will be will be stored there while the agency's probe continues.

The man, writing under the name "ACA," posted a comment last week in response to a story on the expanding role of the IRS under the new health care law. The story was posted on infowars.com, which is operated by conservative talk-show host Alex Jones.

In response to comments made by a poster who questioned others' commitment to violence against government workers, "ACA" wrote:

"THEN I WILL ( I here by threatn you with violence) if you come to my door [address removed] see if im joking! and as for you BEN what dose it look like? you living in it right now! IVAN go buy a gun and get some practice in... ..."

If FOX is involved then it might be O’Reilly, he loves finding stuff like this so he can point to it as “balanced” when he goes after HUPO and the DUmmies.

Is he the utterly crazy one who one day had a complete emotional meltdown when he saw Michelle Malkin??? Does that ring a bell?

To tell the truth, I get most of my news on FR. I never listen to radio (hard to get where I live with my puny cheap radio) and don’t have a TV. So I do not know the answer to that question. I also have little to no use for Glen Beck. I loathe drama queens who want attention centered on themselves. Nothing sucks viewers in like emotions and truth mixed with other stuff.

If those posts are true, then the guy is a nutcase.

Yeah, he screwed up. Hope it doesn't cost his wife her career but if she has a security clearance, she'll probably lose it. And if her rate requires a security clearance, she'll lose that as well. And if the navy can't find an under-manned rate that doesn't require a security clearance to transfer her to, she'll be shown the door.

Alex Jones is not a conservative. He’s a foaming-at-the-mouth loon.

You can’t own a house on base.

Yes, I know that, but still, no one can own the house they live in on base.

Meltdown is an understatement.

Yeah. I should have ended that comment with a question mark because it was a guess. My bad.

lack-of-trust is correct. There are privately-owned housing units on based that are leased to servicemembers. It’s a recently new public-private venture on some bases.

Alex Jones hypes up the nutballs with adrenaline, but offers no suggestions or solutions, except to buy more gold, buy more survival junk, and vote for third party nutballs. All chicken little stuff; bunker up and shoot everyone coming up the road.

Not one hint about supporting viable conservative candidates, or campaigning and running for office. Alex Jones could make a positive difference by encouraging his listeners to learn to read and write, and to read the US Constitution, but that would cost him most of his audience.

Most Americans are considered “radical” when viewed from the Marxist “center” of our President.

Hey, if he strummed a guitar, slept with Bob Dylan (among others), and had long dark hair, refusing to pay taxes would be okay. ;’)
