It’s official: Obama is black

He may be the world's foremost mixed-race leader, but when it came to the official government head count, President Barack Obama gave only one answer to the question about his ethnic background: African-American.

The White House confirmed Friday that Obama did not check multiple boxes on his U.S. Census form, or choose the option that allows him to elaborate on his racial heritage. He ticked the box that says "Black, African Am., or Negro."

His mother, née Dunham, was Irish. Somehow, I haven’t heard a lot of protest from my Irish friends over offense taken at this ethnic slight. At best, he’s a halfa$$ed president.

To use a medical analogy, under medical privacy laws, your hospital cannot divulge one bit of your medical information without your written permission.

Which means that when you go to the doctor, there is yet one more form to sign, that gives them the right to do whatever the Hell they want to with your medical information. And don't even think about not signing that form. No tickee, no shirtee!

Why don’t they check a box: what race do you or others think you look like and which cultural identity accept as your own?

I partially disagree. In terms of policy, the problem is that he is red. In terms of personality, however, Barack Obama is seriously screwed up over race and his abandonment by his father and then by his mother. He ‘resolved’ it by becoming black, and rejecting ‘white’ influence.

Normally, the idea of black or white influence would be racist, but apparently that doesn’t hold true if you reject white thought or white family members.

His grandmother raised him, but he only visited her every couple of years...and as she neared death, he only visited her for about an hour. Then he vacationed on the beach for the next week.

A man like that is seriously screwed up inside. Barack Obama is a nutjob. He needs YEARS of competent counseling...not the Presidency!

In the end, however, Obama's self-chosen race is whatever brings him the most political benefit.

Early in life he choose to identify himself as black because this would entitle him to special treatment and massive societal advantages. I'd say it worked out pretty well for him.

Funny thing is that 0 has nothing in common with mainstream Blacks. Many are waking up to that.

I'm not so sure. Somebody posted a demographic breakdown of a recent poll. He his popularity has cratered with just about every demographic. But he's up 1% with black folk. And as I wrote there, it's the O.J. trial all over again. "He may be despicable beyond words, but he's one of ours."
