It's guts ball time for an Army surgeon who has vowed not to deploy to Afghanistan with his unit unless President Obama provides evidence that he's a "natural born" citizen of the United States.
In response to previously published statements by Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, the Army presented an official letter of counseling that directs him to report to Fort Campbell, Ky., on April 12 to begin deployment preparations with his unit.

I have never seen a birth certificate that states religion.
We have seen the government move further and further away from the Constitution for years and we have said nothing. Not only has the Constitution been diluted it has been molded to suit whatever the needs at the moment. Would anyone be surprised that the powers that be would feel very secure in putting up a candidate who is not a NBC? His mom was a citizen, in their minds that is enough.
I’m not sure I can explain this right but, I am sure defining NBC as two citizen parents would not only make Obama ineligible but it would effect so many citizens as well. Not as far as being President but their feelings of being NBC. I have seen it on these threads before, people who claim dual citizenship or their kids are dual citizens and they believe that they are NBC....the law is fine as long as it does not apply to them! God forbid people get upset! Just like we won’t enforce immigration laws, don’t want to upset anyone! Too much of a hassle!
Merit in who's eyes, the courts? The same courts who time and time again can not even be unanimous on the 2nd Amendment?
We the citizens supposedly are the ones who own this country, not the courts.
According the to the Kenya grandmother, she was already there in Kenya and wanted to go back and the airlines would not let her.

For a Military Officer to do this is akin to those German officers who tried to assasinate Hitler...I know the comparison is a stretch. But it is high ranking military who question the legitimacy of their leadership.
He is walking a fine line and I will pray for him. he has a LOT at stake and I for one, don’t know if I would have the guts to do this.

Yeah, acutally, he will. A General Court Martial is run very much along the lines of a civilian criminal court. The members of the court martial board act as jury, unless LCOL Lakin decides he wants the judge alone to decide his fate. One major difference is that the verdict doesn't have to be unanimous. It only takes 2/3rd to convict.
Its not a matter of interest, someone has to bring them a case they can hear.
Oh yes proof would be nice wouldn’t it, and the only reason proof has not been provided is that Obama and the State of Hawaii are using every legal means at their disposal to prevent the proof from ever reaching a courtroom.
Sadly that is not the most effective way of disproving his critics, in fact it is the least effective and has cost millions of dollars that could have been saved by a simple $12 request for a certified copy of the original document....
And yet we are lead to believe that this drama is meant to cause his detractors to look like fools while he skirts the issue, how long does that work any way?

2. If the doctor faces a court martial, I hope he displays his own long form birth certificate in court in order to show President Obama and his supporters how easy it is to present one's own long form birth certificate in public.
Met a young lady in the Philippines..she is around 20 years old..born in Negros Oriental..one day was looking at her birth certificate..and was shocked to see in the block Sex was typed male..she is clearly a female..but the person who typed the form made an error. The name is female.
No one noticed or paid much attention till I read it. The form is in English..but it is not their first language or second. 1. Visaya 2. Tagalog 3. English.
I really have no idea where Obama was born, but he is hiding something on that birth certificate.
Maybe they checked Obama was born on a plantation...lol

The text read by any logical literate person who is not an elitist liberal lawyer or an Obamabot, whether or not they stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night, says clearly that the first class of citizen is:
"all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. ...
The author of these words subsequently refers to another class of children without reference to the citizenship of their parents that some authorities claim should be "citizens" [not natural born citizens, just citizens]. There have been doubts as to the citizenship of this second class, but not "the first".
This understanding is confirmed by American immigration law at the time since the U.S. Government considered this second class not just to be doubtful citizens, but to be actually "aliens and foreigners" -- until their fathers or they themselves were naturalized.
Check your history some time and reread the above again if necessary. I hope this helps. If not, try spending a night in a Holiday Inn Express -- or a week -- or a month -- or longer.

The courts are clearly prejudiced against the dental profession...perhaps if a good diesel mechanic or Wal-Mart greeter would resubmit some of these cases, they might start making their way through our judicial system.
I did not characterize “birthers” which, IMO, is an entirely different subject. Similarly, there are some who are unable to understand that my condemnation of Lafkin is based exclusively on his refusal to deply and has absolutely nothing to with the issue of Obongo's legitimacy.
A professional soldier should understand.
One more item seal is for DOD..should be a department of the army.seal..they are using DOD stationary on an army letter..lol..
