U.S. military officials tell NBC News that the U.S. Army will court martial a lieutenant colonel who refuses to deploy to Afghanistan because he considers orders from President Obama to be "illegal."
Army doctor Lt. Col. Terry Lakin believes Obama does not meet the constitutional requirements to be president and commander-in-chief

Everything I said is anecdotal.
“So, there are some soldiers who will follow an order to shoot rebellious Americans, and others who wont.”
Pretty much. But it’s worse than that. I’ve been involved in conversations with COs and they’re very afraid. Afraid for their families, their neighbors and their country. All these idiots thinking that American troops will fire on Americans are major bloody morons.
If that happens, the entire military gets blown apart, separated and lined up on different sides.
We’re in a serious situation.
Take my opinions as it is - an opinion.
Best wishes to you...
The point I am attempting to make is..not all native born citizens can be president..but all natural born citizens can.
It is possible Obama can be native born but he can never be a natural born citizen based on his father being a Kenyan citizen.
This has to get to courts..let them decide finally what is a natural born citizen.
Here is one example..the courts can ponder:
Rep. A. Smyth (VA), House of Representatives, December 1820:
When we apply the term citizens to the inhabitants of States, it means those who are members of the political community. The civil law determined the condition of the son by that of the father. A man whose father was not a citizen was allowed to be a perpetual inhabitant, but not a citizen, unless citizenship was conferred on him.
But until Obama is found to be an usurper by the SCOTUS, they will charge any commander with disobedience, the chain of command still must be followed. The UCMJ and the officers who run the courts can’t make that determination. I admire the officer, but unless all generals file suit it is a pointless exercise.
That’s what I’ve been saying. God bless LTC Lakin, but I would like to see the entire officer corp (all 4 branches) filing suit - including Petraeus. I’m disheartened that this has not been done!
If he is dismissed, that is equivalent to a bad conduct discharge, and his separation papers will show "other than honorable". That's enough in many states to get your professional license pulled, or never issued as the case may be. In others it's the conviction itself, not the punitative discharge/dismissal.
He might have to go practice on some Caribbean Island, like Grenada. Maybe he could teach at the True Blue campus of the St. George's School of Medicine? ;). He's not been in the Army long enough, unless he had a break in service, to have served there back during Urgent Fury under a Real CIC, R. Reagan.
BTW, in looking up the effect of a punitive discharge, I discovered that anyone sentenced to one gets an automatic appeal to the Court of Military Review for their service.
Well because of BO care many doctors are planning to close their practice anyway.
Well because of BO care many doctors are planning to close their practice anyway.
Yes it does.
It's not a crime to be ineligible to the office of Presiden. Fraud in portraying oneself as eligible when one is not, and when one knew or should have know that one was not eligible, that could be a crime, but not one Justice Roberts would be complicit in. He'd be just another victim, so to speak.
Your obamanoid kneepads are cutting off circulation to your tiny brain. Ease up, punky.
The story says that Lt. Col. Lakin "believes (incorrectly) that Obama wasn't born in the United States."
I wonder if these editorializing journalists have a photo of the plaque that commemorates BHO's birthplace?
Do you have proper Tea Party attire?:
Yeah. We’ll have to see.
This is the sort of scum I was referring to at luch this week. This sort of stench has changed FR in a very bad way. These trolling scum are protected at FR, when Freerepublic should be leading the work to expose the affirmative action sonofabitch in the Oval Office.
If you'd read the footnote:
One must be aware, however, that this language does not appear in any case having to do with citizenship or naturalization or the rights of naturalized citizens and its force may be therefore questioned
It's dicta, having no legal force at all. It was an attempt at an analogy. It could still have persuasvie force, but in determining the meaning of a Constutional term, the writing of a historian contemporary with the adoption of the Constitution, especially one as well known and thought of as Ramsay, would likely be much more persuasive.
Ramsay wrote that citizenship belongs to none but those who have been born of citizens since the 4th of July, 1776. That is plainly untrue. It may have been true at the time, but the 14th amendment fundamentally changed the definition of citizenship in this country.
It did not. Even it's authors said as much. What it did change was to apply the "rules" to "all persons", regardless of race. Otherwise it didn't change anything. Plus it says nothing about "natural born citizenship". Oh it has the word "born" and the word "citizens" but that does not equate to "natural born", at least until a court says it does, in a case where it matters. Meaning a case involving eligibility to the offices of President or Vice President.
