“From what I have read in news reports, I do have concerns about this legislation.”

Just as I thought...this sh!thead hasn’t read the law either. Like all the other sh!theads on the left who exclaimed their outrage today.

Lazy GALDINGGAFFLESNATCHERS.

I tried to warn people about Rubio.....He is Pro-Illegal/Anti-American

FIVE TIMES, while Speaker of the Florida House, Rubio killed legislation that would have made it easier for Florida to remove illegals...including E-Verify. These were bills that would have easily passed and signed by....egad...Charlie Crist

Why this Floridian has been sending money to JD Hayworth....and willing to trade Rubio for Hayworth...with a few other “politicans to be named later” thrown in...LOL

Well, I’ve always believed that you don’t get anywhere appeasing anybody that you don’t have a personnel relationship with (e.g., a family member). You only show how weak you are.

State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so by state law. There is no extant federal limitation on this authority. The 1996 immigration control legislation passed by Congress was intended to encourage states and local agencies to participate in the process of enforcing federal immigration laws. Immigration officers and local law enforcement officers may detain an individual for a brief warrantless interrogation where circumstances create a reasonable suspicion that the individual is illegally present in the U.S. Specific facts constituting a reasonable suspicion include evasive, nervous, or erratic behavior; dress or speech indicating foreign citizenship; and presence in an area known to contain a concentration of illegal aliens. Hispanic appearance alone is not sufficient. Immigration officers and police must have a valid warrant or valid employer's consent to enter workplaces or residences. Any vehicle used to transport or harbor illegal aliens, or used as a substantial part of an activity that encourages illegal aliens to come to or reside in the U.S. may be seized by an immigration officer and is subject to forfeiture. The forfeiture power covers any conveyances used within the U.S.

The real question is whether Rubio would support amnesty, or a path to citizenship in any disguise for illegal entrants or visa overstayers.

I know I’ve read on FR that Rubio opposes amnesty, but that was just commenters and nothing sourced from Rubio. It would sure be disappointing if he is just Mel Martinez II. Surely he hasn’t flown under the radar on this issue this long.

“Adios Rubio! Hola Crist!!!”

Really? Crist who was supporting the stimulus bill? On Thursday Crist will probably be a independent candidate.

The media are going to ask every Republican outside the state of Arizona looking to divide and conquer.

Rubio said “from what I have read about the bill...”

He will obviously need to read Arizona’s legislation, and that’s what he should have said.

I am sure Charlie Crist is thrilled, right about now.

Has anyone asked Crist for his opinion?

We already have Jeb’s.

Yup. I sure as h*ll wish this last minute slip up by the Rubio would sink his campaign and we could find a real conservative.

The Bushes did this when they sabaotaged Bill McCaollum and pushed AMNESTY Mel Martinez in his place.

Rubio is just the Bushes Mel Martinez 2. I thought this all along but FR’ers told me Rubio was against illegal immigration.

Rubio is another La Raza RINO. I think if Crist says he will never vote for amnesty and is sorry about Obama etc etc etc. He could still win.

My neighbor said a few days ago that he hates Crist but does not trust Rubio at all.
