"Master of mendacity: Obama and the birthers" is an eloquently written and thoroughly comprehensive exposition of everything said thousands of times before by hundreds of others. Yet, like every other writer, David Solway could have summed up his entire 2,300-word essay by using the dreaded "C" word.
When you have documented evidence of active collusion in the planning and commission of a crime and the cover-up that follows, THAT's a conspiracy, not a "theory."
So, why won't anyone say it?
We already know who conspired to commit fraud and who conspired to shut anyone up who dared mention what they were doing.
Everyone to the right of Karl Marx should know, by now, how Obama and his gang of accomplices and enablers have played the race card before, during and after the election, ad infinitum.
To what everyone seems to be oblivious is the conspiracy card – this is the trump card that obscures everything we lay on the table.
Is there any doubt that we have the most corrupt, most criminal and most ruthless presidential administration in U.S. history?
Is there any doubt that they have gotten away with usurping the presidency because we are so terrified of saying the "C" word?
I am sick and tired of conservative writers tiptoeing around the "C" word as if they were walking through an M16 mine field. What is the big woof about calling something a conspiracy when all it takes are two people to do it?
All it takes are two people to have a conspiracy, and I can name at least four people who conspired to commit Hawaiian birth certificate fraud.
Obama lied and conspired his way into the White House easier than most of us can get a job.

There are a few Rules of Thumb when it comes to separating lies from the truth. For one thing, lies are not self-perpetuating. They require people and subsequent lies to keep them going. Politifact proved that fact in spades by repeatedly running a rumor they created, that “Obama’s middle name is Muhammed” and repeatedly using it to lie about Obama all throughout 2008. While everyone else was talking about Obama’s birth certificate as evidence of his birth in Hawaii, Politifact was using it to further “debunk” their bogus middle name rumor.

Secondly, no matter how long it takes, a lie will eventually be discovered. Lastly, the bigger the lie, the more subsequent lies are required to keep it hidden.
The lie about Obama’s birth certificate is so big that conspiracy theories alone cannot explain it. It is so big that it takes the resources of the entire liberal media to defend its alleged legitimacy.
For two long years, we have witnessed the biggest case of identity fraud in US history, along with the most pervasive corruption and collusion among government officials, lawmakers, politicians, and media members.
Against this backdrop of graft, bribery, extortion, and secrecy, what makes the birth certificate lie so egregious are the people and groups behind it –those who have sought to engender our trust and then have proceeded to shatter it.
Obama’s popularity has sunk like an anchor – and his liberal cohorts in Congress have faired even worse. THAT cannot be blamed on Bush, Birthers, or even on a bogus birth certificate. It is only a matter of time before we find out the whole truth about Obama’s birth narrative.

We have names, yes, but in all likelihood not an exhaustive list. (That's not to say that a formal criminal investigation and prosecution of the suspects wouldn't be appropriate now.)
I'd agree. The underlying problem is that the left has played so many games with the English language that the definition of the word "conspiracy" has become distorted in too many minds. It has been changed from "collusion among two or more individuals to commit a crime" to something too fantastic to be credible. Thus, one who states that a conspiracy has been committed, regardless of how convincing his evidence may be, is immediately branded by the opposition as being out of contact with reality.
