Skip to comments.Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)
Posted on 07/03/2008 4:35:19 PM PDT by SE Mom
Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Yes, it would be good to find out if this guy exists. I figure a call to SSS might be in order.

Dan Amon seems to be THEY spokesman for left leaning draft chit chat.
His name pops up as quoted in KOS a lot.
And he did graphics work for the gov?
I think something stinks.
THEY = THE
Very curious indeed. Then again, so is everything about Obama’s past.

I just posted this to Bob Owen:

Would you mind posting the actual email from Daniel Amon, Public Affairs Specialist and include the header information?

It is waiting for the moderator’s approval before going live.
In the case of federal jobs and clearances, the decision to deny the jobs and clearances rests with the agency doing the hiring, says Dan Amon, public affairs specialist with the Selective Service System.
I saw that one. I saw a few of them. I think I said that upthread.
I’ve not seen a return for him on the sss.gov site though except as being referenced as the Project Manager for his graphics service.
New piece up at IsraelInsider
Israeli Insider to the contrary, I’m not quite ready to give up on the “original” BC being faked.

ContrairiMairi Raises More Questions
Here’s a thought I just had.....Remember I had asked, “How did Maya get a COLB if she was born in Jakarta?”
I was just looking at info on your new blog, and a HUGE bell went off in my head!
The two COLB’s Patricia Decosta (actual), and Husseins/Maya’s (possibly fake) say TWO different Things!
Patricia...Date Filed by State Registrar “ a record of birth sent from a local hospital?”
Hussein....Date Accepted by State Registrar “possibly indicating someone born somewhere else and late filed?”
Why else two different statements on the same form????
What do you think?
Maya’s would also have to be “accepted” if born out of country as we know she was......
Just a thought

Techdude’s claims of discovering hidden text are not what I based my knowledge of forgery on, in the least. It is and remains a forgery.
Why not say that he registered on Sept. 4, 1980? When I read the word “effective”, that makes me think that it was done at a different time than the one stated.
Too many years of listening to BJ parsing words and smirking at us.
What techdude says is not even the point. The COLB is a fake- for whatever reason.
Israel Insider is just reporting the developments in the story.
I pop links up here as I come across them- as part of the record. I’m after the truth- whatever it turns out to be. Obama has been adept to date, at hiding the truth of his life.
Any good con knows to throw in some truth as part of the con- this guy will not be an exception.
I started pressing the SSS angle for a totally different reason. I had read a while back that the campaign had been very circumspect when answering questions re his SSS registration. One that comes readily to mind was a comment that..... approx. 800,000 young men of the era failed register. I just felt that IF he had not registered, would this be an individual we would want as CinC?
