Obama Official: Netanyahu Waiting for ‘President Palin’
INN ^ | 6-8-10 | Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

The Netanyahu government’s attitude to the United States shows it is “waiting for President [Sarah] Palin, an Obama official reportedly told Peter Beinart, writing for the Atlantic Monthly news site. Palin was the Republican candidate for vice president two years ago and is considered a front-running candidate for the next presidential election in 2012.

“As an Obama official once told me about the Netanyahu team, with amazement, ‘these guys are actually waiting for President Palin,’” wrote Beinart, a senior political writer for The Daily Beast and associate professor of journalism and political science at City University of New York.

In a critical article noting that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and senior government officials preach to the chorus of right-wing and Christian fundamentalist groups in the United States,

So are a lot of us here. Even those who are not big Palin fans would certainly take her over Obama.

Another thing Sarah has going for her (along with any other true conservative)is the amount of distrust and even animus directed towards anything that even smells establishment. People are now realizing they were sold a bill of goods by the LSM.

It’s gonna get worse, it has to. This guy makes Carter look like Churchill. People are gonna be so angry by ‘12 there’s no telling what they’ll do.

My own opinion is that Palin is not very electable,

She may be the only one who's electable. It's hard to see the forest for the trees in this mess but she is one of the few who aren't manipulated by the press.

The media gave us McCain as a candidate and they will try to pick our candidate again in 2012. They'll pick one of these guys who they've pumped up as a winner then slash him to pieces after the primary. Since Sarah doesn't play their game, they won't be able to control her image. All other hopefuls are still worshipping at the media altar thinking that's their only ticket in. P>

I already see people reevaluating her, I think she'll win and do to the msm what Reagan did to the unions.

IMHO :-)

Palin is not polling anywhere near where she needs to be to win the ‘12 nomination nuch less beat Obamarx. Listen, I hope I am wrong. I think she would be fantastic. I just don’t think she can get elected right now. Perhaps 2016 if it’s open...

If not Palin, then who? Huck? Mitt? I would be fine with some of the other conservative potential-candidates as well... but at the moment, I think one can say that Palin has a fair shot at the nomination.

Granted, much can happen in a year and a half to change the whole playing field...

I can see November from my front porch. She certainly has these obamabots sweating for some reason. Too bad she is not as experienced as Obama. Oh wait, she actually has executive experience. Wow, imagine that?

It is difficult to beat an eloquent speaker who uses a
teleprompter to read a speech a team of top notch writers
have written. Personally, that quality invariably
leads to victory and a rush towards marxism/facism;
e.g. Stalin, Mussellini, Hitler, Mao Zdung, Pol Pot, Chavez. All extremely cogent, fluent who appeal to the populisim myth of Equality (another variation of Jealousy).

The public is easily swayed by eloquent speakers, which is
their only asset. Obama is a reincarnation of FDR.

Palin is a leader. We need a leader for a change not
an expert in Geography. Leaders know how to surround
themselves with experts. A leader is looking for results
not kudos and credits. Let the others receive that.

I would love to be as wrong as is humanly possible over Palin’s electability. Few things would make me happier than having her elected. I think she would be great, without any reservation whatsoever.

I will absolutely acknowledge the comparison and parallels between Palin’s poll stats and the “surprise” “unexpected” “miracle” of Reagan’s election.

At the time, I was not very political at all. I was keenly aware that the nation was in the serious doldrums with Carter in office. I expected him to be thrown out, but I didn’t particularly see RR as a savior; IOW, I thought that where the nation was, was simply in the nature of a grand economic cycle. I feel that x 1000 now, plus the degree of intentional looting, corruption, and sanctioned lawbreaking we’ve gone through in the past 5 or so years (actually..10 years) is just unprecedented, and literally nothing about it has been repaired. Indeed, the US has become a kakistocracy. (look it up)

My view on Palin’s electability is based not at all upon her as a candidate, and not all that much on the media’s relentless, rabid assault on her. It is based upon knowing that never before in the history of the US has there been such a multi-cultural, rabidly anti-American addicted-to-handout crowd of such blithering morons as we have now. It’s a wide open question to me whether that can be overcome, and given that worsening times are IMO likely to strengthen their numbers, I’m rather pessimistic as to our odds.

I agree Bibi is a smart man. So why isn’t he actively putting out information (even surrepititiously so it doesn’t point back at them) to bring Obummer down NOW. Mossad surely knows all about Obummer’s past...get it out there. Israel can’t afford to wait until 2012, and neither can America.

“My own opinion is that Palin is not very electable,”

“Any this too shall pass ...”

Two-and-a-half years to go.

Another 30 months of Obama’s destructional incompetence and Sarah looks better and better.

I can’t wait to see her debate him. She’ll sweetly wipe the floor with him.

It is a long long long time until 2012. Perhaps it will be Sarah, perhaps she will not even choose to run. If she does go for the nomination, the MSM can do nothing to filter her words during the primary debates. That is where she will shine and leave people shaking their heads and wondering why they were under the impression that she is stupid.
