That reminds me of the news story that appeared right after the blow out. Obama had sent Swat Teams to other wells in the Gulf. The news story was short and did not state a reason for taking such a step. And then there was no further mention of it anywhere.

BP is voluntarily being used as the whipping boy to promote the underlying agenda.

At some point, the moratorium will create a slump in domestic oil supply. That will cause an increase in refinery bid, and the MSM will be wailing about the greedy oil companies.

When that happens, watch the 'other hand'. The Senate killed the Resolution to stop the EPA from 'regulating' Carbon Dioxide as a pollutant. THey will. When they do, the Chicago Carbon Exchange will no longer be holding worthless paper, as those 'carbon credits' will now have an echange value to keep producing electricity, natural gas, and even drill oil wells (the EPA has Federal Leasing suspended in North Dakota and Montana at present to 'study the problem of CO2 production by drilling for and producing oil).

With the need to purchase carbon credits, the price of energy is going up for all of us, but the benefactors of this scam are the people vested in the Chicago Carbon Exchange--Soros, Strong, Gore, and others, to the tune of trillions of dollars, taxed by fiat, and through sales of these credits on the open market.

Of course, 'Big Oil' will get the blame.

If they can, they'll even take a shot at taking over the oil industry, too, either by some union mandate or by moves similar to those pulled on GM or the banks.

There are trillions more to be looted from the American people, not just through banks, car manufacturers, and the health care industry, and they are not slowing down.

Then since there was apparent knowledge and a criminal probe going on, let’s see if Attorney General Holder brings criminal negligence charges against his boss Barack Obama. This could certainly classify as a misdemeanor, perhaps even a high crime if you get my drift.

And if I were a betting man, BP cut a deal at the White House that will serve the underlings up to the Feds but insulate the higher ups. Also, if I were a betting man, BP has been cleansing BP corporate of any traces of evidence that they knew what was up.

This wasn’t a shake down, it was a deal. Heyward traded BP middle managers and the shareholder for his freedom and personal liability.

Exactly. BP and the Regime are conjoined twins on this whole rotten thing.

Under the Bush administration BP was revealed as the vilest safety/environmental criminal among all the oil companies, having been convicted of a felony arising from the 2005 explosion of its Texas City, TX refinery that killed 15 people and of a misdemeanor for inadequate maintenance of an Alaska pipeline that burst, causing a 200,000 gallon spill. It was on probation for both of those offenses at the time of the Oilspill. In addition, it received 760 OSHA citations for serious violations in the three years preceding the Oilspill, while Conoco, its nearest runner up, only received 8.

All of that put BP in the position of desperately needing official protection for its sloppy operations, which it got by heavily contributing to the 2008 Obama campaign, spending something like $12,000,000 with Stanley Greenberg's PR firm, the most heavily connected of the DemonRat lobbying outfits, and becoming the great corporate leader from the oil industry in the decapitate and tax hysteria. All of these dubious activities got it special administration favor and carte blanche to drill as it chose, safety rules be damned. Then, SURPRISE!!!, the well blew up.

At that point the conjoined twins, BP and the Regime, found it vital to put on a charade to keep people from asking the about their bribery/improper influence conspiracy that led to the blowout. Hence, the ridiculous spectacle at the White House where Obama, the lead conspirator, got his co-conspirators at BP to pay the amount for remediation and compensation that they'd already planned to pay, the only difference being that it would be paid to an Obama stooge to distribute. All of this was for no other purpose than to create a fake impression of an adversarial relationship between the co-conspirators and avoid a serious investigation of what happened, an investigation that would, IMHO, reveal impeachable bribery.

Not much into conspiracy stuff, 30 years technical experience in oilfield industry, understand why and how the well blew, understand the very bad decisions BP made, but can not understand in any way why BP began circulating the heavy mud out the hole and replacing it with seawater before setting the final plug. They knew they were having trouble and they did the worse thing they could have done. Had they left the heavy mud in the hole none of this would have happened (99.9% sure).
I have heard no logical explanation of why this was done and that gives me concern, a lot of concern.

One reason I heard was that the eco-wackos have been suing and harassing all drillers over heavy mud they call toxic. Could that be a factor?

From the Hot Air site:

I totally agree with that. The Feds failed, up and down.
Ragspierre on June 19, 2010 at 3:28 P

That’s one point of view. The other might be that they were completely successful in “their” objectives.

5. Five Republican (one changed to I) Govs had their states damaged
4. 16% of economy effectively shut down.
3. Total offshore oil drilling ban
2. Provided a platform for pushing “Cap and Tax”
1. Soros will make a huge sum off this

The simplest explanation (no North Korean navy needed) is that the administration identified an individual in a position to increase the risk of a blowout. The Chicago Way would involved "persuading" the individual to take the appropriate action. Even if a blowout did not occur, there was no political risk and minimal expense in making the attempt.

Sounds like lots of folks knew about it well enough ahead . . . except for the poor blokes about to lose their lives.

And also compare it to a timeline of NALCO.

You really can't take anything at face value anymore with all of the propaganda and deception going on right now. BP is voluntarily being used as the whipping boy to promote the underlying agenda. Can’t let a crisis go to waste you know.
Bloomberg is reporting that, from information submitted by BP to the Mining and Mineral Services (MMS), that BP was aware of cracks in the well at least since February, 2010.

BP has been at the forefront of lobbying for cap and trade legislation.

BP CEO Tony Hayward sold £1.4 million of his shares in BP weeks before the spill as reported by the Telegraph. Ironically, Goldman Sachs divested 44% of its shares in BP Oil during the first quarter of 2010. Could it be mere coincidence that the former chairman of BP, Peter Sutherland, is the current chairman of Goldman Sachs?

and Goldman Sachs along with Soros, Buffet, Gore and Citi bought stock in NALCO who make the dispersant last November..

I asked over six weeks ago if anyone had a list of the engineers and/or dead that worked on the rig. What is their background? Are any of them Amish? Still haven't gotten any answers....Then BO sent Holder down...which may actually be the right thing to do! I want the whole BP FamDamily investigated! and anyone else that was on that rig!

From family in the space industry I know that one screw in the right location, not tightened properly, can cause a rocket to explode, or an essential piece of an aircraft to loosen. Accidental or on Purpose...Did something like that happen...Who was responsible?

“serious negligence on this administration’s part...either they knew it and ignored it or they didn’t know anything about it - which is worse?????”

So what does the media dwell on?

The BP executive going to see his yacht in a race.

Never mind that Obama does NOTHING.

Never mind that a barabque, parties and a vacation are more important. When he finally sobered up, he realized he had another opportunity to extort money from BP. BTW, we REJECT other countries with experience to help U.S.. Obama sat o his hands. It's pitiful and unacceptable.

I'm to tired to think straight. And I have to get up early for work. But is sure looks like these reports show what gross negligience was practiced by all involved.
If anything. BP practiced poor safety concerns, engineering practices and in the reality poor management practices.
They gambled and lost big this time around. The MMS and the Coast Guard, EPA and every other fed org that was in the loop also must bear equal blame.
They all screwed the pouch big time. With that I am going to hit the rack shortly. Do have a great upcoming day.

I read on FR that some guy from the EPA ordered them to remove the mud and use seawater.
