Demanding his resignation will only serve to motivate the left to dig in their heals and sling mud. Wait until November.

You’re so full of sh*t. Their OATH gives them the right.

They take an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Where in the Constitution does it give them the power to remove the elected government?

Damn you're dumb.

he will not resign because his handlers are calling the shots and taking down our economy. What we need are 3 good generals to step forward to remove him. Each general would oversee each branch of government.

When the “Commander in Chief” is VIOLATING the Constitution, can’t the MILITARY who reports to this cretin, then say YOU are incompetent and an ENEMY of the people and REMOVE HIM?

Uh, no.t

You would do well to read other sources of historical fact, instead of accepting in whole the creations of elitist academics of northern industrial oligarchs. If, in fact you cannot make the connection between obama, and the ONLY statue he allows in his office- that of Lincoln, then you have learned nothing about totalitarianism. We are again fighting for the right of States to belong in a coerced Union. The rise of the Marxist Communist influences on the northern oligarchy (Sacco Vanzetti, union riots, coal mining.. the list is rather large)increased AFTER the northern “victory” and institution of reconstruction disaster on the South. Don’t you just love living in a “free” society with a president who is an abominational product of this internationale. Keep it up, we will soon be under all of their boots. Tyranny is not unique to any one party. Long live our Constitution as conceived by our Founders and not a living document of facile statist coercion.

‘Or time to cull the herd.’

Well, that’s a good point. Those here preparing for CW2 would get just that, I think.

Those who are wholly unprepared would get just that.

Well, well the academic returns. Perhaps you should read the Oath sworn by our military officers. Defense of the Constitution is not obscure as to meaning. A cinc who does not similarly support and defend our Constitution may be removed by the citizenry... period.

Bah.

Impeachment -> Treason proceedings -> Punishment.

Repeat as necessary for his fellow travellers.

And of course you can point to the clause that gives the military the authority to remove him? You being all learned in the document and all?

Of course it would be nice if Petraus or another 4 star would stand up and demand documentation before issuing another order, but ......they are all oath breakers except political prisoners like Larkin.

I believe your ideas and questions are valid. To those who complain about the Constitutionality of what you suggest I’d respond that if our Founders had restricted their actions to only legal ones we wouldn’t even be here right now.
I think you probably have a lot of support from like-minded citizens who just plain don’t know how to get things going. I would, however, heed the advice of many here - Revolution or military coup would tear this country into pieces that would take generations (if ever) to put back together. Keep that in mind - especially if you have children or grandchildren.

Who would think of questioning the intelligence of those believing that this little punk would do what the American people want? Why I could no more do that than question the reality of the Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus.

The comments by others here have clearly shown the naivety and foolishness of such ideas. They are beyond ridiculous and have no place among serious thinkers. You, however, are welcome to them.

“tear this country into pieces that would take generations (if ever) to put back together. Keep that in mind - especially if you have children or grandchildren.”

This is the very reason citizens are calling for BOs removal. Children and grandchildren are being made slaves of the state now. How long will the damage take to repair? Having a mad-dog in office can’t go on unchallenged if there is any hope of repairing the damage he has already done.

Why cannot the people demand the resignation of this totally incompetent man?

The people can demand it. How many of the peoples’ other demands have their representatives responded to, or even listened to?

Your namesake joined the Republican Party becoming one of Grant’s best friends. And, but for the little lunatic, Lincoln would have been the South’s greatest friend after the RAT Rebellion was put down.

What you consider “historical fact” is little more than the fevered fantasies of those desperate to protect the reputation of the treasonous rabble which tried to destroy the Union.

Naturally, one believing such nonsense has no clue as to what the Founders intended. Washington, Hamilton and Madison the greatest of that generation understood AND STATED that the Union was one which was permanent. There was no legal means of withdrawing from it other than a constitutional amendment. Certainly not by attacking its military installations clearly belonging to the nation.

But the RAT Rebellion was brought about ONLY because the slavers feared Lincoln (one of our two greatest presidents) would take away their “right” to enslave their fellow men. Fortunately for all mankind it was put down.

Secession was as wrong in 1861 as it was in 1804 when lunatics from New England floated the idea.

You need to study REAL Totalitarianism before misapplying the term in a demented manner. The rest of your babble is not worth replying to.

I agree with you. As a Dad of 4 I can remember asking myself - not long ago - the same questions that started this thread. Why can’t we throw this traitor out of our house? I spent a lot of time considering what it would mean if a revolution or a civil war began. Asking myself - what would I do? What would it mean to my children?
I came to the same conclusion you have - My children will be less free and will have more burden than I because of our president and his ilk. For my children to have less than me makes me feel as though I’ve failed them. I’d be willing to do anything to make that up to them.
I mentioned children and grandchildren in my response because they are first and foremost in my own mind. It should be part of the equation for anyone considering the questions that the originator of this thread has asked.
