HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — During the latest episode of the battle over a sex tape showing ex-presidential candidate John Edwards being less than presidential, Judge Carl Fox stopped with a quizzical look.
Rielle Hunter, a campaign videographer with whom Edwards had an extramarital affair and a child, claims the tape is hers and wants it back from Andrew Young, the former Edwards aide who wrote a tell-all book about the politician's quest for the White House.
At a hearing in Orange County Superior Court on Wednesday, lawyers for Young argued that Hunter had no claim to it. They contended the video belonged to the Edwards campaign or his political action committee.

If McClown was playing an ego game, and I tend to agree with your opinion, what was Palin’s gameplan? Don’t tell me that she was not aware of his impending failure.
Palin was energetic. But McCain had to be dragged back into it time and time again by people who weren’t even HAPPY with his nomination but at least knew Obama’s agenda was far to the left and more disruptive of the American way of life.
McCain’s putting up much more struggle in his bid to keep his Senate seat even from “fellow” Republicans.
Mostly just at work.
Then, McCain picked Sarah Palin. (actually, he didn't. Let's just say someone in his org. chose her)
It became apparent that this was a mistake because they thought her lack of experience and exposure to the general public would ensure a lack of support. Then Edwards self-aborted. Now they were really in a fix.
So.... they used the RACE card to trump the QUEENS.
Now if only there was a part for a sex poodle in the film.

Al Gore, John Edwards, Bill Clinton, Chris Dodd, Ted Kennedy, Eliot Spitzer, (et al), might be the reason why good, decent men do not run for elective office: being tarred with the same brush!
It might also bode well for conservative women on the ballot.
