This morning, The Daily Caller posted a story about an email message radio publicist Sarah Spitz reportedly sent to Journolist, a now-defunct listserv.
"If you were in the presence of a man having a heart attack, how would you respond?" The Daily Caller article began. "As he clutched his chest in desperation and pain, would you call 911? Would you try to save him from dying? Of course you would."
--snip--
I made poorly considered remarks about Rush Limbaugh to what I believed was a private email discussion group from my personal email account. As a publicist, I realize more than anyone that is no excuse for irresponsible behavior. I apologize to anyone I may have offended and I regret these comments greatly; they do not reflect the values by which I conduct my life.

Once again, it’s an apology “if I offended someone” as if it’s RUSH’S problem he was “offended.” Not, “I was wrong, and what I said was inexcusable.”
These marxists and leftists are like roaches...infesting everything in this country. It’s pretty disheartening to realize how hard it will be to ever root these people out of the system or change their hearts and minds.
Yeah, typical leftist move. My guess this is exactly how she lives her life.
I’m sure she’ll get a substantial raise to boot.
I wish our side had the gonads to defund NPR and various other assorted leftist asswipes.
//they do not reflect the values by which I conduct my life//
Suurre they dont.
And wowswer, look at all the tax-free trying to tell us how to think.
Great chart!
I have said for years that PBS/NPR should be required to stand on their own merits. I do not believe that either entity is meant to be bolstered by our tax dollars.
And....
I do not want to know which “Half” is which.
PS: You can call me “Cracker”.
FIRE the idiot!!!
Some sort of a garden blog.

” Exposure is all they fear and power is their God.”
Well put
I was very suspect at first but seeing the word “genuine” put my worst fears to rest.
BTW, what does the word "listserv" mean? This is the first I've heard of one.
Another pubic radio hag.
Produces the outlandish “left right and center” show
which features somebody from the left (a stalinist)—and the “center” (they call it independent blogosphere and features the well known “Independent” Ariana Puffington) —and a limp wristed country club Republican to ...balance the chatter.
“Listserv is a specific software application. For electronic mailing lists in general, see Electronic mailing list.
“LISTSERV was the first electronic mailing list software application, consisting of a set of email addresses for a group in which the sender can send one email and it will reach a variety of people.[1] Since its launch in 1986, several other list management tools have been developed, such as Lyris ListManager in 1997, Sympa in 1997, GNU Mailman in 1998.
“Prior to LISTSERV, email lists were managed manually. To join or leave a list, people would write to the human list administrator and ask to be added or removed, a process that only got more time-consuming as discussion lists grew in popularity.
“LISTSERV was freeware from 1986 through 1993 and is now a commercial product developed by L-Soft, a company founded by LISTSERV author Eric Thomas in 1994.[2] A free version limited to ten lists of up to 500 subscribers each can be downloaded from the companys web site.”
IIRC, a “listserv” is an old school internet term that is like a “bulletin board” for people with a common interest.
So lots of people may look at the “listserv”, but you don’t have to “post” to it...but it is a “subscription” based service, meaning you have to be accepted by a moderator to access the info.
Anyone? Is that close? I recall being on a listserv way back in the mid 1990s for music groups I enjoyed.
What does “listserv” mean?!? What are you a whippersnapper? ;’)
