At 85, Phyllis Schlafly has still got game.

The anti-feminist founder of the conservative Eagle Forum -- who counts Barry Goldwater's 1964 White House run and the 1982 death of the Equal Rights Amendment as exquisite victories and the "internationalist" presidencies of George Bush 41 and 43 as "not helpful to the Republican party" -- hasn't mellowed one whit.

That she made abundantly clear Thursday afternoon at the Conservative Political Action Committee conference in Washington.

Lord knows she still looks great, the poufy blonde hair perfectly lacquered, the fitted tweed jacket tricked out with her signature golden eagle brooch and tiny anti-abortion baby feet, her neck encircled by three stands of pearls and a chain from which dangled a cross of gold.

My wifey just came down into my office and saw this thread...I asked her specifically her views knowing she too likes Sarah and Michelle Bachman too

paraphrased:

She prefers men as president because she thinks men are better decision makers...especially these types of decisions like war in particular.

And she thinks it is the Godly patriarchal order of things.

And that women are more emotional and hormone driven.

The only woman leader is history she likes is Maggie...and she loves her.

Anyway, right now she's my first choice, Phyllis opinion aside.

She would certainly be more capable than any Democrat that ran for the office in the last 40 years.

Oh yeah, I know of the popularity of posting threads critical of Sarah Palin. Those posters live in their little world of negativity, consistently looking to undermine Sarah. But think about it, how relevant are they? Can their posts make a difference and really significantly compromise the support Sarah garners every day?  If that was the case - if they were as influential as they fantasize they are, their 1% candidate would have been elected president.

Seriously, I was for Duncan Hunter in 2008, but by the time of the Michigan primary, he was a dead duck. In fact, it was his last primary before dropping out.

I have a friend (a conservative Republican) who still rides me about supporting Duncan Hunter. Then I remind Mike that I told him about Sarah Palin when she was a candidate for governor.

I like it when the Obots complain to the mods, I want them to, I want to ridicule and bait them, I want them to overplay their limited hand,as they have just done and continue to do.

Erkyl and the beast. She’s thinking she could do that. The zero, not so much.

I’m a mama lion, pissant, and know Michele Bachmann as much as someone can “know” someone from spending a few hours with them. I marched in a parade with her, and as a female myself, I found her to be much like myself - committed, concerned and dedicated to the morals and values of the conservative movement. She truly is a shining star in the big picture. I fight the fight in my much smaller world amongst family and friends.

In this black/white upside down world, articulate women are far more accepted than just another white guy. Scary, I know, because I’m raising one of those “white guys.” He has to live in the world we will hopefully define by our efforts. It doesn’t help that Schlafly comes out with this kind of article. Of course, voters a lot younger than I am will not even know that she worked with President Reagan.

My 2 cents, 0bummer rocked the world as the first totally fake “black” president.

Palin and Bachmann are for real with a RECORD that can be thoroughly vetted. Probably not to the liking of the Left, and will be “scorched earth” non-stop media criticism, but I’d be behind the ticket all the way. I’m not a feminist, but I’m a realist and know my own mind.

God gave us Ruth. Perhaps it’s time to give the women a turn.
