What's wrong with Laura Ingraham ?..She said Romney is not a "Progressive"!

Laura Ingraham was on the Glenn Beck radio show in the last hour this morning...While talking about potential candidates for 2012, She was asked if Romney was a "progressive" she said NO he isn't one of them at all...I've heard that she loves Romney like a Ken doll and is a Romneybot, but this is amazing!

She also said that she would take Newt as President in a heartbeat!

What gives?

Laura is part of the “beltway crowd” of Conservatives who can trace their political alliegance lineage all the way back to the RIchard NixOn.

Nixon wowed em up with his “law and order” views in the days of the anti-war hippies and riots.

The Nixon Administration attacked the liberal media, too. Nixon’s FCC issued a Fairness Doctrine ruling against NBC over a news documentary on pensions.

This was raw meat to those conservatives while Nixon detented the Soviets and “opened up” China, cut the “peace” in Vietnam with communist liars. Here at home the government got bigger with the EPA being created.

Nixon had a young media guy working for him named Roger Ailes.

“Fair and Balanced” has its roots in the Richard Nixon attack on the media that attacked Nixon with passion.

I was just basing my opinion on what I’ve read about his health care plan in MA, which sounds a lot like obamacare with all the mandates, subsidies and regulations.

OK, so she's a fellow traveler too. Her radio show, her unfunny puns and her voice couldn't be more irritating.

I quit her several years ago, voice was very aggravating and seems like her show was all about her. I listen for opinions and analysis, couldn't care less about their personal crap.

What is wrong with Glen Beck’s definition of a Progressive?

Historically, a progressive is someone who wants to use government to effect social reforms.

In reality today, I can’t tell you the difference between a socialists and a progressive.

In fact, they have there own caucus, the Congressional Progressive Caucus. This includes such socialist fruitcakes as:

Lynn Woolsey
Sheila Jackson-Lee
Barney Frank
Alcee Hastings
Barbara Lee
Jerold Nadler
Eleanor Holmes-Norton
Charlie Rangel
Maxine Waters
Henry Waxman

Every one of them is a certifiable Fruit Loop socialist tyrant.

Other self-proclaimed progressive whack-job politicians include:

Al Franken
Cynthia McKinney
Kathleen Sebelius
Howard Dean
Al Gore
The thankfully late Ted Kennedy.

Other people calling themselves progressives are:

Arianna Huffington
Ron Reagan
Bill Maher
Keith Olbermann
Rachel Maddow.

Every single one of the people mentioned above is an out and out socialist. So I am baffled what you meant in saying “HIS definition” about Becks correct use of the term “progressive”, at least in regard to modern progressives.

Furthermore, organizations like the George Soros funded “Center for American Progress” run by John Podesta, calls itself a Progressive organization.

I have no clue if Romney is a socialist or just your typical political whore who will do anything for money and votes, but Glenn Beck’s definition is in direct keeping with all of the above people who are proud and honored to call themselves “Progressives”.

None are moderates, they are all out and out socialists, and they are very proud of the fact.

Wouldn't surprise me, I only listen to a little Beck and some Hewitt but it does seem like they're all in lockstep. I wouldn't listen to Beck at all but when I'm out and about I only have two choices, Hannity or Beck, can't stand Hannity.

Hannity is a lightweight but he is not a sell out on the borther issue like the rest. Neither is Rush, Levin, Savage, Malzberg, the guy in Philly(?) and probably Dennis Miller.

Some dumba*s here said Rush made fun. He was not making fun of birthers - he was making fun of how Obama is covering it up. He was supporting birthers.

Well, you see Frantzie. Just cause Mittens acts progressively when in power, does not mean he is a progressive when out of power or running for office. It is like Juan McCain who is not a progressive while he is trying to get re-elected but is a progressive when he has power in the bag.
