What happened to all those polls showing Crist in the lead?

Perhaps folks realized the book of Charlie Crist's accomplishments is as thick as the book of Rosie O'Donnell's Diet Tips or Ellen's little black book of boyfriends.

Crist is currently the Republican Governor but he’s running for the Senate as an Independent... against his own party?

Is that correct?

Commissar of suntans and chickenhawks.
He can get a nice big thick purple velvet robe and a big gold stud in one of his ears.

He'll be so CUTE!

Yes, you got it. Crist dropped out of the Republican party months ago when he realized he would have a hard race against Rubio to get the Republican nomination. Complete betrayal of the voters that put him in office.

Where is Mrs. Crist?Maybe....

1. With the other ornaments that glitter and give a nice impression.

2. On the Crist Unicorn Ranch with other make believe rides.

3. Touring the world with all the money she has saved on birth control pills.

And it sounds like most of his voter base now are dems. Dems supporting Crist instead of Meeks.

So what happens in Nov if no-one gets 50%. Runoff, or top dog out of three gets it?

This Senate seat is within the grasp of the rats. A call from Rhambo to Meek to spend more time with family or accept a big time remunerative job as you say becomes more likely every day. They will not let this opportunity pass.

Most votes wins in Florida. Florida repealed runoffs in primaries in 2001 or 2002 and I don’t think we ever had them in the general.

Crist made a mistake by aligning himself with 0bama. Being 'independent' should be like that: independent. Instead, he turned left drastically and openly supports 0bama's position in many issues. I think that turned off the independents and moderate Republicans.

And the media continues to ignore Alexander Snitker. I love how everyone ignores Rubio’s apparent lack of ethics and integrity.

This makes sense that Rubio is in the lead, what with Meek and Crist splitting the socialist/ imbecile /fake suntanned faggot vote.

I expect State Media headline: “Rubio with a narrow lead”.

or "Rubio falls far short of 50% in latest poll as Meek surges"

With the Gulf oil spill under control, Crist is no longer able to fake leadership in crisis.

Sort of like Scott Brown taking “Kennedy’s seat”.

Exactly my sentiments. After more than 30 years of watching politics I've grown very suspicious of candidates who "sound too good to be true" because they almost always are. I hope Rubio turns out to be a rock solid Conservative, but at this point I wouldn't bet the farm on it. Lets see what happens once he has spent some time inside the koolaide asylum.....

Rubio doesn’t take anything for granted.

He’s talked about how his comments about the AZ law were distorted but how he should have been more careful of what he said to the press and how that issue hurt him. He’s very aware that a slip-up or giving his opponents any opening can be harmful.

He’s not the type to quit while ahead and knows all to well how quickly things can change with politics.
