Black men need special attention from social workers to deal with their needs

• Black boys are more likely to experience difficulty in school and are less likely to graduate than any other group.
• African American males' socioeconomic status contributes significantly to their likelihood of being arrested and spending time in prison.
• African American males have longer periods of joblessness and lower salaries due to underemployment than men from other demographic groups.

Despite their problems, few programs are designed specifically to help black males, and social workers may not view them as part the families and communities that the workers serve, with the result that black males' individual needs go unaddressed...

One of the better movies I ever saw about how to best turn boys into men was Coach Carter. Yet, if anybody, especially if they are white, try the same method which Coach Carter used so successfully, they are denounced by the liberal establishment as racists or worse.

For those who haven't seen the movie, Coach Carter's methods were not magic nor particularly even tied to black culture. It was simply being consistent, treating the kids like adults and holding them accountable.

I have a buddy (who happens to be a racial minority) who, a number of years ago, was interviewing with a few of Ivy League schools (he’s also exceptionally bright). Big government care unmoors black males from personal, family, and community responsibility, which decimates communities, which then need big government “solutions” in the form of welfare, affirmative action, and prisons. It becomes a positive feedback loop feeding government, the public sector unions, and the prison system.

The black culture is so incredibly disfunctional in every way and abusive that if it was white culture, it would never be tolerated by the very same power brokers that facilitate the continuation of it in blacks. Programs like this cause the United States to balkanize even further. I never thought growing up that I would become so bitter about the condition of my country under socialist control.

I'm so tired of the arrogance of those socialist blacks who believe that I owe them. I don't owe them jacksh#t because I intend to stay free instead of becoming their moral and economic slave.
