Cliff Kincaid writes of the protest,

"The “peace director” of the October 2 “One Nation Working Together” rally says that the U.S. should immediately withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, military aid to Israel should be ended, and that Iran has the right to develop nuclear weapons as long as the U.S. has them. He also says that Marxists are invited to participate at his upcoming rally.

Michael McPhearson, one of the key organizers of the event and former executive director of Veterans for Peace, tells Accuracy in Media, “I’m not all that concerned if you’re a Republican, Democrat, or Marxist or Communist, whatever,” he said. “I just want us to work together to make our country better. That’s what I look at—not if you’re a socialist.”

The October 2 rally in Washington, D.C. is designed to counter the Tea Party, a grass roots movement of citizens devoted to limited government, and the recent “Restoring Honor” rally in the nation’s capital sponsored by Fox News personality Glenn Beck."

You know it’s unlikely—but in any case, they certainly won’t look for hand held signs with extremist messages to showcase in their coverage.

It’s unlikely the media will expose them for who they are, particularly calling out the groups (by name!) who are a part of this “Progressive March”.

It’s really time for us to pick up our video cams, and be the eyes and ears of the people.

Alternate media needs to be saturated with the truth, so that people eventually get the message.... and so that eventually, even MSM may recognize how inept they are.

Simple connect-the-dots, really. Every other Leftist dictatorship in modern history has already exploited, mismanaged, plundered, and pretty much exhausted their resources and people in their quest for absolute power. Then you have Third World countries, where the ruling class manipulates ignorant tribal coalitions to maintain control. The Western world has been the last, best hope for anyone seeking personal liberty, and European nations are even now falling like dominoes due to aggressive Arab immigration and Utopian Socialist fantasies. America is about the only nation left there a human being can live like God intended. A cancer exists only to find new, healthy tissue to feed on and propagate its existence. We're the last piece of unrotted meat left in the planetary host. That cancer must be cut out of the host for the body to survive. Danny Glover is just a malignant cell in that tumor, and he should be treated like one.

Who said that they view this country as horrible? They want its resources, which are clearly unavailable elsewhere. You and I believe that the main resource is the people, which, when enslaved, will cease to be a substantial resource. They don't understand that: they believe that people will work even better once they fix everyone's wages. But there is no puzzle in their lack of desire to move.
